Obama created the worst refugee crisis in hundreds of years because he didn't have a clue that a premature withdrawal of US troops from Iraq would embolden ISIS into taking over huge swaths of the Middle East! The decisions that Obama made to make himself look better for re-election cost the lives of hundreds of thousands and caused millions to flee for their lives. THAT is his "legacy" in the Middle East!

Well, since we WERE in Iraq then it was Barack Obama's job to manage that situation the best that he could, Edward! His decision to ignore the advice of his military leaders and pull out all of our combat troops was made for political reasons. He and he alone OWNS the result of that decision.

President Bush was getting the same advice when he signed the agreement to pull out all troops from Iraq. He made and signed that obligatory agreement a month before he left office and handed the agreement to President Obama. President Obama campaigned on a promise to end the war in Iraq, but it was President Bush who demanded the credit by signing that agreement.
