It is way too soon to evaluate the results of this killing. I doubt anybody this side of Tehran mourns Soleimani's death. But I guess everyone expects repercussions, only not the knee-jerk kind. However, I am hoping some good for us comes from this. In that area our people are getting picked off one by one and I believe there should be a cost for that.
My ideal would be something subtle, like beheaders and ISIS members quietly turning up dead on pikes that nobody knows how or where or when it happened. Sort of like how the horse's head got in the bed.
We have to wait and see what's next.
