my favorite taco:

corn tortilla warmed over a comal (they are cheap and way better than any pan), beef or chicken, onions, cilantro, lime juice, with a sprinkle of jack cheese

somewhat of a street taco....

I prefer mine with chihuahua cheese, shredded beef simmered for 3+ hours with ancho peppers, and finely diced onion with cilantro.

My grandfather's 50% Spanish, 50% Mexican, and 100% Latino. He'd have grandma make scrambled eggs and mashed beans with corn tortillas for breakfast. Oddly enough, I look white, but I take after him and his exact food preferences. Including authentic menudo.

Americanized tacos aren't anything like the real ones.
