It is Trump and his supporters like you are corrupting this country.
The fact is that the Floyd protests were largely peaceful. What needs to be examined is the role that right wing terrorist groups had in this. Several of the violent protests were committed by young whites. Protesting CNN makes no sense for a left wing organization but a lot of sense for right wing agitators.
The Republicans are attacking our voting rights. The goal is to keep the Republican Party in power so they can never lose power. That starts with voting districts where Republicans cannot lose no matter how far to the right they go. Areas that support the Republican regime get more polling places and shorter waits while areas that support Democrats have fewer polling places and longer waiting times. They are seeking to remove both Republican and Democrat election officials who are honest with partisan hacks who are willing to throw out votes so their side wins. Republicans are making false claims about fake election fraud so they can pursue their own election fraud.
The Jan 6 attack was a terrorist attack on this country. The Vice President had to be evacuated due to terrorists invading the capitol. These people supposedly milling around injured 140 police officers and 1 died. The police were attacked by these thugs and House members are shown barricading the chamber to keep them out. There are no political prisoners. These thugs are where they deserve to be.
Then we have Republican attempts to rewrite history. They use false boogeymen like CRT to push this. They remove minorities and women from the history books. They want to forget about teaching the facts about slavery, segregation, mistreatment of Indians and Japanese Americans during WW2 for starters. The KKK is no longer bad. I can see this. The KKK were Democrats but in the 2020s, they are Trump supporters.
If Republicans regain power, the road to Nazi Germany begins.
