Prior to the 2018 elections the Maine State House had 7 members of third parties/independent. That number dropped to 6 in the 2018 election. Then it dropped to 4 in the 2020 election. Then it dropped to 2 in the 2022 election.

Nice to see it recommends ranked choice voting. We'd also have to remove the incentives that animate a politician's worst impulses -- let's get the money out of politics and install strict term limits across the board. Or we can just decide that's too much trouble.

Ranked choice is not a solution

It creates more problems than it solves

Getting money out of politics is easy, as long as MONEY != SPEECH

The fiat currency is now matured and perhaps in decent. the speed slow like Great Britain in the 19th century. We cannot mass produce quickly anymore. Like they could not when they declined.
