19 states now, falling like dominoes they are.
The ruling makes Pennsylvania the 19th U.S. state where gay marriage is allowed, a movement that has gained momentum since the Supreme Court ruled last June that legally married same-sex couples are eligible for federal benefits.

may this be an education in why you can vote peoples rights away.

Correct.

Americans are citizens of the United States first and foremost, and residents of their respective states subordinate to that.

The states have no authority to deny American citizens the rights guaranteed each American by the Federal Constitution.

This is the wrong way to go about it. Iowa, who was first to have legal gay marriage, voted out three Iowa Supreme Court Justices because of their ruling. The will of the people must be considered.

Another state where marriage is a joke now. Everyone update your lists of traitors.

Oregon had a constitutional amendment. How can a single judge have such powers? I am not against gays and gay marriage.

It’s not about a judge’s ‘powers,’ it’s about a judge examining a measure – be it an amendment to a state’s constitution or law – in the context of relevant Constitutional jurisprudence and determining the constitutionality of that measure, where similar measures were ruled to be un-Constitutional by other judges and/or the Supreme Court.

You truly are a stupid pile of shit, aren't you?

ooo Rabbit getting mad

You know he's horrible lost any grasp of the argument when he goes full bore personal attack on you. :D

Another example of bed wetters using the court to move their agenda in spite of the will of the people.

And your post is another example of a conservative ignorant of the fact that the people have no authority to deny American citizens their civil liberties, and an example of conservative contempt for, and ignorance of, the Constitution and its case law.

Personally I wish all you moonbats would just go queer already and swallow all your potential offspring, otherwise please take advantage of your local abortion clinics.

The world will be so much better off.

For that matter I strongly encourage all of you idiots to perform retroactive self abortions. Just please try not to make too much of a mess so that handling/disposing your genetic garbage is as efficient as possible.

What's a moonbat?

I seriously doubt they are unemployed, and I bet they would not change their decision.

. I don't think anybody cares enough to force a vote to override the Court's decision. Their ruling was pretty ironclad. Still, it pissed off enough people initially.

Nope.
