The current U6 started in Jan 1994 and was 11.8%.

It didn't drop to below 9% until May 1997 at 8.8%.

Didn't hit 8% (ok, 7.9%) until April 1998.

Hit a low of 6.9% in April 2000 and starting in 2001 with that recession climbed to 10.4% in September 2003 before dropping down to 8.1% in 2006. Stayed in the 8-8.5% range in 2006 and 2007 before the 2008 recession started.

So "years?" Usually means more than two. The Median of the U6 has been 9.5%

Almost all of EdwardBiamonte's claims are false, I honestly don't get how anyone could actually enjoy discussions about the economy when they are forced to tell outright lies with every post. They only way that seems possible if he convinces himself as he tells them, which of course is indicative of the many mental health issues I've been pointing out.
