Kerry is not a handicap. Not when it comes to dealing with countries like Iran. Kerry will agree with Iran, he will tell Iran that the American military is evil and must be destroyed. Which, coincidentally is just how they feel. Iran, Syria, Al Quaeda, Hezbollah, Hamas, any of them, will find Kerry reasonable and insightful. He will make many appearances on Al Jazzera and be quoted over and over.

Anyone who would bother to actually check would note that the few POWs who were returned were mostly air crew members captured far from fighting on the ground. The reason for that is simple: the NVA/VC rarely took prisoners. When they overran a unit they normally slaughtered our wounded who could no longer defend themselves. Tell me some more about how brutal GIs were.
