Legal question on Trump's future

As evident by this forum, we can argue about Trump's Russia collusion and his obstruction of justice allegations, etc. for still a while while through Muller prepares his final report.

However, a couple of issues are INDISPUTABLE:

Trump has violated federal election laws through Cohen's payoff to Daniels, and

Now, the question arises when Trump is finally out of office and the "shield" of the oval office is no longer applicable. WILL or CAN TRUMP be charged for the above violations???

Just asking.....

Wow, all those repetitive links and not one federal statute in sight. Go figure.
For emoluments its Article I, Section 9, Clause 8 in Constitution. Its known as "title of nobility".
Get ready for the deep dive.

Why would I get ready for a “deep dive” your citation has nothing to do with Trump or the President of the United States you are like all dimshit idiots and some liberal judges the constitution is a mystery.

Likely not.

It would establish legal precedent that could expose the next president to criminal prosecution after he leaves office.

Neither of those "facts" are "indisputable" at all.

Payoffs to hoes making accusations aren't valid or legal campaign expenses, so it would have been improper for those expenses to have come from the Trump Campaign. Trump did it right, by cutting a check from his personal account. And when Daniels pays it back, it go back to the Trumpster as well.

As far as "emoluments", there are none. The Trump Organization was able to find two very able young men to run the business while President Trump is conducting the nation's business. Wow, all those repetitive links and not one federal statute in sight. Go figure.

Sigh..........

The emoluments clause, also called the foreign emoluments clause, is a provision of the U.S. Constitution (Article I, Section 9, Paragraph 8) that generally prohibits federal officeholders from receiving any gift,, payment or other thing of value from a foreign state or its rulers, officers, or representatives.

If Trump actually colluded with the Russians to defraud the American people of a fair election or any deal he made that defrauds the government, he could be charge under
18 U.S. Code § 371 - Conspiracy to commit offense or to defraud United States.

Indeed......Possibly, the "best" deal for Trump would be resignation with Pence agreeing to pardon him before stepping down.....A-la Nixon-Ford.......

(of course, we know what happened to Ford......a most decent republican.)

Are you just as fucking moronic in real life as you are here?
This means "yes he can along with other things but I can't admit it".

Trump has violated federal election laws through Cohen's payoff to Daniels,
Cohen violated federal election laws. Trump can pay off anyone he wants.

Trump has violated emolument laws in receiving something of value from foreign governments with his D.C. hotel scamming.
Why have they not pursued this if true? Seriously? What is the hold up?

.
Why do you think those laws don't apply to tRump, and it is the republican congress that is currently holding up the emollients violations investigation.

As far as "emoluments", there are none. The Trump Organization was able to find two very able young men to run the business while President Trump is conducting the nation's business. Besides, any "emoluments" would have to be banned by Congress, and the Congress hasn't even submitted legislation on the matter.
Plenty of emoluments action, such as saudi's buying an entire floor in Trump Tower, for example.
Records have been released in this regard; evidence gathering is going forward.

So it's against the law for Trump to sell condos that he built especially for that purpose?

Snowflakes are such brain-damaged morons that it's unbelievable.

After Trump's new AG rips the left a new one they won't be on the forum getting uppity.
Republicans are all about corrupting government for personal gain aren't they.

Ever hear of the UraniumOne Deal, netting the Clinton Foundation $145,000,000?
How about a secret server in her bathroom and her destruction of subpoenaed evidence?
How about Bill Clinton getting $500,000 for a speech in Russia?
Please tell me again what evidence against Trump justifies the Special Counsel investigation into "collusion"?
Then we have the corrupt DOJ and FBI actually spying on the Trump campaign, names like McCabe, Comey, Strzok, Ohr, and Rosenstein using Clinton cash to pay for a Russian Steele Dossier. I hop Huber and the GOP finally gets somewhere, hopefully to a Grand Jury and indictments.

The Saudis bought the floor at Trump Tower in 2001, long before Donald J Trump even thought of running. If he had refused the business because they were arabs, he would have been in violation of fair housing.
