I honestly don't understand why people give up their seats either. I wouldn't do it. Everyone in the military is a volunteer who chose to be there and face what ever it is they face.

Yes, it says I'm not going to give up a thousand dollar seat for somebody just because they volunteered for a certain profession. If you want to do that, be my guest. Nobody joins the military to be worshiped with constant accolades.
