Liberals Call Ben Carson ‘token,’ ‘Uncle Tom’ and ‘Oreo’ after CPAC speech

If he were a Socialist claiming someone from the tea party made those comments you'd take his word.

Angry activists who had gathered outside the Capitol to protest health care reform Saturday yelled "******" at a few members of the Congressional Black Caucus, including civil rights icon Rep. John Lewis from Georgia.

Protesters also spat on at least one black lawmaker, and the most high-profile openly gay lawmaker, Rep Barney Frank, was apparently called a "faggot." Rep Emanuel Cleaver said he was spat upon while walking toward the Capitol. Police arrested the assailant, but Cleaver decided not to press charges.

Didn't somebody offer to give $100,000 to anyone who had proof of that incident? Weren't there two people walking behind him using cell phones to record everything? Did anyone ever come up with proof?
Yes, Bigotbarf offered $100,000 which he welshed on once the video was produced, and no there were not two people walking behind him recording everything with their cell cams, only one guy carrying a flag.

I respect the office, not the man or his ideas, respect is earned it's not an anointment that automatically comes with winning an election. Also I don't address anyone by their job title, when I speak with my congressman, senators or their staff I refer to them as Mr.

Well, actually, "you don't". President Obama, in comparison to his predecessor, has garnered the respect of the world. That you right wingers deny him it, doesn't mean you're justified. I even put aside my objections to George Bush, on 9/12/01...and he betrayed that new-found trust, "in spades".

The fact that you revere him doesn't mean you're justified either. He won two elections with campaigns of nothing but slogans, lies and deceit and you know as well as I, had the media done their job and made the country aware of his real story instead of the mirage they helped propagate, he would have never been elected in the first place. Don't ask me to respect a man that thinks this country needs to fundamentally into something it was never intended to be.
Excuse me, but how is it that you, and only you know what this country is intended to be?You don't own this country...this land belongs to many, and therefore, not bounded by your expectations and desires.
The media, obviously, did their job, as the better man (and I mean that "whole-heartedly) was duly elected. Just because he has a different tack from his predecessor, as to the direction of the nation, doesn't mean that he is a traitor, a liar, a destroyer, or usurper. It simply means that he is following the wishes and the desires of the majority of Americans, contrary to your minority of Americans. The demographic has changed, and you aren't adapting. Not our problem.

What real story?

Not going to spend a lot of time, but I suggest you look at the philosophies of his parents, grandparents, his mentor Frank Marshall Davis, his pastor of 20 years Jeremiah Wright and the communist Alinski whose philosophies and teachings he practices and taught. Then you might read his books, you can get a very clear understanding of the man who's goal is to destroy this country.

Destroy the country??? Yet, he got voted in "twice". Seems the majority of the country "has his back". LOL

Everything is the "new n-word" to the left. It's growing pretty damn tiresome.

Disagree with Obama? RACIST!

Think he's a socialist? RACIST!

Think he's a Communist? RACIST!

Fuck, it's like a broken record.

And no, "broken record" is not the new "n-word..."

Why the fuck do people keep saying that. Do you not pay attention to the news?

I watch and read the news, everyday.

Are you aware that Iran has accused The US Navy of of trying to start a war?

And? Ahmadinejad is a loon. He was a loon under Bush. President Obama has already warned him...what would you have us do? A preemptive strike? It's on the table. Duh.

Are you aware that North Korea has cut off the hotline and actually fired on South Korean territory?

And? Their last missile "misfired"....again. They are not so stupid as to risk annihilation by going to war with the South. It's bluster. Duh.

Are you aware that Afghanistan has actually accused us of conspiring with the Taliban?

Right. By Karzai...a corrupt despot and the unfortunate leader of the country, whom we've aided and abetted, to our own chagrin. A diplomatic failure, which plagues every administration. They don't want us there, and we're leaving.

Get your head out of your ass.

You, first.

I just rewatched the video, you are right, there is one person using two phones. By the way, if the video actually exist that shows anyone calling him a name no one in the world has ever seen it.

It never fails. The left cannot tolerate any minority who doesn't think the way they believe they should. Think outside of the liberal "groupthink" and you're attacked viciously.

Herman Cain was called names for daring to be a successful conservative who didn't rely on government programs to climb his way to the top. Now, just because Ben Carson was bold enough to speak honestly at the dinner in front of Obama, he's being called the same names.

Why is it that the left cannot accept that people don't fit neatly into groups and they don't automatically share the same mindset as others in the group that liberals put them in? The left is wrong to group people to start with and they make it worse when they assume how people will think based on their skin color. Their actions are the very definition of racism.

And they cannot accept that Republicans are more interested in people's minds than skin color. Whenever the left sees a minority openly agreeing with the right, they start the name calling with the usual idiotic labels, like; token black, puppet, Uncle Tom and other nasty things not worth repeating. And it's all because the left doesn't believe that minorities can think for themselves and can actually disagree with liberals. I guess the lesson here for liberals is that they can't brainwash everyone with their programs that promote class and race warfare and not all minorities are interested in a big nanny government.

Some people, of all classes and races, understand that they are capable of achieving more for themselves than any politician can. The liberals don't get it. They don't understand people who believe in personal responsibility and who refuse to subscribe to the notion that they are all born into victimhood and need to be rescued.

Liberals need to get over it already and start treating people like individuals and not as members of a group who are supposed to share a brain.

Would it be fair if liberals only call this guy the kind of names, with the same level of class and decency,

that the right has been using on President Obama for years?

...if we were to have a laugh at a picture of Ben Carson in witch doctor garb, would that be fair?

...if we were to have a laugh at a picture of a watermelon patch on Carson's front yard, would that be okay?

...you know, that sort of thing, things that the Right does all the time.

You might be a racist if you are outraged by pictures of Obama dressed up as a witch doctor but are not outraged by pictures of Bush dressed up like a witch doctor.

You might be a racist if you are outraged by pictures of Obama as a monkey, but not outraged by pictures of Bush as a monkey, you might be a racist.

I will flat out guarantee that anything you find racist when it is done to Obama has been done to Bush. If that doesn't make you think you are fuck bag lying sack of shit hypocrite I know you are a racist.

References of witch doctors, and monkeys are not racist when applied to Bush. It is, when applied to Obama, because he is black...and Africans and, subsequently, African-Americans, have long been identified as "monkeys", since before slavery. It's a racial pejorative, when applied to "blacks", not whites.

That's a priceless item in a thread that's trying to portray Liberals as the namecallers...

Just consider it my personal term of endearment for the little commie slime ball.

Commie? Is that the new "n-word"?

No, it's just conservative-speak for anything they dislike or disagree with. It is synonymous with liberal, socialist, or several other epithets they are always spewing. It doesn't actually mean any of those things in the word's actual sense. They aren't afraid to utter the "n-word", although the more evolved racist conservatives will employ euphemisms instead.

The truth, has, does, and will set the captives free. And if Ben Carson puts himself on the wrong side of ideology or history, then let him reap the whirlwind, and stop whining. Men don't whine.

Then if what you claim is true, why do you put this man down? Isn't Dr. Carson as free as you are to think for himself? Hmm..., the "Tolerance Brigade" now os the "INtolerance Brigade" same as the KKK 21st century style.

Because of context. If you, as a black man, have a problem with another black man, who happens to be the President of the United States of America, you don't express it, at a conference of mainly, "angry white folks", who have nothing but hatred and contempt for the man in question.

Dear Leader is a global joke - except to the few left wing lunatics who haven't yet realized that he's "not the messiah, he's a very naughty boy."

These people - your Dear Leader and his cohorts - they bring disrespect on the offices they hold. Hold them to account and stop whining.

Really? Like your opinion counts for something.

The truth might set you free, but you fail to reach out and grasp it. The acceptance of any idiotolgy that presupposes that a dark skin color requires a certain pattern of thought and or action, is the same as saying you have no right to think or act for yourself. Those white boys that like you are perfectly capable of doing your thinking for you.

Ben Carson doesn't give a damn what you think of him. He is a big boy, well educated and highly skilled as a doctor. He figures he can do his own thinking.

However, I would bet dollars to doughnuts, that most of his distractors from the left wing are more upset by the fact that he does not consider himself a victum, than they are about his political views. Blows the hell out of their political model.

To listen to you tell it. Watch. He'll not go far. Mark my words. The conservative/Republican model is kerplunkt. When you all return to the center, there may be hope.

What a load of horseshit.

If you, as an American, have a problem with another American, who in this case happens to be the President of the United States, you have every right, and some would say duty, to express said difference anywhere and everywhere you wish.

That you would advocate silencing such dissent is disturbing. And un-American.

It's a cultural thing, in the black neighborhood. We don't air our dirty laundry, "in public".
Neither should you. Those that do, we call "sell-outs".
