No Republican will nominate Liz Cheney because they are all cowards enslaved to demagogic posturing and afraid of the Repub’s large lunatic base. Liz Cheney remains far more “conservative” than most MAGA Republicans. Her main crime for MAGAnuts was her disloyalty to their old cult leader — her determined and rather admirable opposition to “The Donald” himself.

I would never support her and she hasn’t a snowball’s chance in hell of becoming Speaker of the House, but unlike Trump she has proven she puts country ahead of her personal political career and interests.

Why would the Republicans elect someone who is allied with the Democrats? If that's what they wanted, they'd elect Nancy Pelosi.

At least they would agree on one and get busy. We don't have a Congress right now and there is zero thoughts of fixing it. What it's doing is killing off the GOP but that death won't be over until 2024. And at that point, the Dems (and maybe the indies) will have to pass in house rules to prevent this from ever happening again.
