A major MAGA influencer on Twitter who goes by the pseudonym "Gunther Eagleman" wrote a tweet to Vladimir Putin yesterday apologizing for our nation funding Ukraine's defense against Russia's invasion. While I have my own reservations about the extent of our involvement in Ukraine this should be flat our embarrassing for the MAGA movement. This man has over 600,000 followers on Twitter and with the retweets and attention it's getting his message will end up with millions of views, of which he will make money off of based on Twitter's engagement formula. Trump world gets offended when they're accused of being puppets of Putin. Major influencers like this guy make it difficult to shake that stereotype.

I don't see an apology in that tweet. You're giving false and misleading context to your post.

And he is correct, a lot of Americans do not support funding Ukraines border while our own border is an issue to all Americans and America itself.

The description on their Twitter account is "The official account of the MeidasTouch Network. Unapologetically pro-democracy.". There is nothing on there about trump or maga or even conservatives.

I wasn't aware that I had to support anybody being that I'm neither Ukranian nor Russian. That said, I've made my position on this clear many times. I'm not opposed to very limited involvement on our end, but this in Europe's backyard. The EU needs to be step up and be the primary source of Ukranian funding. They are most threatened by Russia if Putin succeeds. Furthermore, isn't this supposed to be what the United Nations is for?

The balance of evidence says that the European Nato members have no ability to make the necessary change back to the brief period of time when the Ukraine had the advantage of 'escalation control'.

Russia exercizes that control by a factor of 8 or 10 to 1!
