Manhattan DA Bragg sues Republican Jim Jordan

Because the twice impeached, once indicted (so far) loser of a POTUS is also a criminal that intentionally falsified buisness records. You would understand it if he was a Dem. Mindless partisan hacks are boring.

You don't know he is a criminal and that he falsified records, that's an accusation at this point. It's the courts job to determine that. I'm pretty sure you don't know any real details, you just read some headlines and ran with it.

And yes he was impeached twice, been investigated by a government group of his most hated enemies with the government at their disposal for years, accused of a metric shit ton of stuff, and been sued more times than weeks youve been alive and none of it ever amounted to anything. Hopefully when this shame of a trial is over and he walks away again maybe you'll finally get the idea he isn't what you want him to be.

What absolutely amazes me is that they just believe everything they are told about Rump despite them never getting him on anything.

He must be the cleanest politician ever! After years of looking for a crime, THIS is the best they come up with?

This guy Bragg thinks he's a little dictator over in NY doesn't he? I can't wait til he's behind bars and fired!
Dumbest D.A. I've ever seen, he just gave Congress "another 2counts" of 1obstructing Biden investigations through intimidation of congress, and 2obstructing Congress investigation of fed finanancing his intimidation-obstructive act. Bragg openly intimidated officials, but also gave Trump a chance to sue Bragg citing his own law suit argument.-doh!

Ah, the legal kerfuffle in the Big Apple, where the New York prosecutor, Bragg, is hot on the heels of former President Trump, accusing a Republican-led committee of meddling in his case. The battling has been rather fierce between Bragg and the House Judiciary Committee since the scent of indictment reached their nostrils.

In a twist worthy of a courtroom drama, the committee has summoned one Mark Pomerantz, an ex-attorney critical of Bragg's tactics. However, Bragg won't stand for it, and has launched a lawsuit to prevent Pomerantz's testimony, claiming that the meddling violates state sovereignty and reeks of politics.

Chairman Jim Jordan retaliates with a tweet, suggesting Trump's indictment is without basis and that Bragg is obstructing their much-needed oversight. As the drama unfolds, a "field hearing" has been scheduled by the House Judiciary Committee just a stone's throw from Bragg's office and the courthouse where Trump's legal fate hangs in the balance.

And so, the story is developing, the plot thickens, now please pass the popcorn.

The New York prosecutor who is pursuing criminal charges against former President Trump says a Republican-led congressional committee is trying to interfere with his case. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg alleges "an unconstitutional attempt to undermine" his investigation.

The House Judiciary Committee and Bragg have been sparring since it became clear that Trump would be indicted. Last week, the committee subpoenaed a former attorney in the DA's office, Mark Pomerantz, who wrote a book that was critical of Bragg's legal judgments.

Federal money = Federal oversight

You idiot

What federal funds is D.A. Bragg is using. How do you know D.A. Bragg is using federal funds. How did you learn D.A. Bragg is using federal funds and who told you and/or where did you read D.A. Bragg is using federal funds.

Right now, all you are engaging is conjecture/contention/hearsay/innuendo/supposition. You offer no real proof, all you are doing is using words you have heard or read.

Post your fucking proof

Ainchu jus all tough and shit?

That was from money seized and from before Bragg investigated Trump.

Bragg's office has told the committee it used $5,000 in federal funds to investigate Trump and his namesake family company from 2019 to 2021.

The office said that money came from $1 billion of asset forfeiture it secured for the government in the last 15 years.

So when the investigation began, Bragg was NOT in office and there was NO uproar about using funds. Bragg was elected in 2021. When he came into office, he suspended the investigation and members of Manhattan D.A's Office quit when Bragg suspended the investigation.

Prosecutors in charge of Trump criminal probe have resigned

Where was the uproar and outcry when Cy Vance was investigating and using federal funds.......there was none that where.

You live in reality 2.0. Do you believe that Jan 6 think was a peaceful day at the Capitol?
What the fuck does January 6th have to do with Trump? Let me guess, "he incited a riot". No he didnt and you cant prove that he did so get out of my face with that weak shit.

It's not braggs job to do the work if the fed

BWHAAAAAAaa Bragg has no case... The fact that the persecution is political in nature destroys his premise... Braggs abuse of power, trying to use a federal crime where he has no statutory right to do so, is going to sink this fool. GOOD LUCK LEFTITS... You're going to need it... Once this hits SCOTUS its going into the trash bin where it belongs.

I have not heard a single person argue that he did not do it. The defense is all about the statue of limitations, or not really a felony to attach it to, etc, but no one I have heard so far deny he committed misnomers.

There was no manufactured outrage when Cy Vance, Jr. was investigating the Traitor....none. Now that the Traitor has been indicted, it's like Katie Bar The Door.....the new Manhattan D.A. (African-American) dared to indict the Traitor. Vance, who is WHITE received lots negative press from Cons, but they did not sue him ever.

How dare an African-American D.A. in New York do his job. He must think he has that right.....which he does.

You can't tell this emotional train wrecks nothing

Bragg isn't unlike the Clintons or the Bidens or the FBI. They're professionals at using our biased deep state infrastructure to change the subject of any criminal accusations made against them. They're all cover up artists.

What right does he have trying to enforce FEDERAL LAW that he has no jurisdiction over and those that do, declined to prosecute? Tell me where this fool gets his authority from? This guy just ensured he will be disbarred.

Bragg may as well indict the entire GOP at this point, and throw in Clarence Thomas to boot.

In fact, he may as well indict all of their supporters as well.

What the hell.

This asshat can't get enough.
It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
