Judge the clip as you will but commonsense prevails in my assessment. No where in the clip did I hear Obama mouth the words "illegals could vote in a national election." That his enemies would seize the moment to misconstrue and politicize an ambiguous statement in such a way is despicable.

As you may know, undocumented workers can vote in some local elections.I am confident that was the context in which Obama spoke. That confidence emanates from knowing that Obama is not a fool and would never encourage people to break the law on national TV. As an adjunct professor of Constitutional law Obama knew better.
