More good News !Two anti gun Co libs recalled

Here you go, sparky:

The election in Ms. Giron’s district could cost taxpayers $300,000, officials have said. A statewide poll in August by Quinnipiac University found that Coloradans overwhelmingly opposed the recalls.

I'm not talking about outside money, champ. I'm talking about all of the taxpayer money that is spent in any election.

Again, you would be better suited if you actually checked your facts. (1) Dems LOST the 2 seats. They will be taken by the two republican candidates. You claimed that the dems would choose the successors - you lied.

So what? Now you're upset about the money spent? It's called free and fair elections sparky. It probably cost the state $50,000 for the election. It wasn't a state-wide referendum there sparky. It was only in Colorado Springs. The citizens of Colorado Springs recalled THEIR reps.

Geezz fellow. take a minute and actually research the facts before you begin your victory lap.

Jesus son, what the hell is your problem!?!? I don't care if it cost 5 BILLION dollars! The voters asked for, and received a recall election from the state. I don't give a damn WHO was opposed to it - but I suspect it was the commies in the state who feared the recall.

The State authorized the recall. It was done and your side took it on the chin.

Grow a pair and man up.

All of WHAT taxpayer money spent sparky?

You did claim that no taxpayer money was spent, right? So, now taxpayer money matters not? You should realize that I can easily quote your posts.

....and the law still stands, the governorship, the state House and the state Senate are still in Dem control; and Dems get to choose successors for the recalled Senators.

:lmao:

The two recalled seats were filled by Republican Bernie Herpin and Republican George Rivera.

There is a movement just starting to recall Hickenlooper too.

Colorado has been transformed by an influx of educated, moderate coastal transplants and a growing Hispanic population. Democrats have been able to win over these groups better than Republicans.

Interesting. Anytime they say "an influx of educated....." it means liberals or Democrats. Isn't that funny?

no not really

two repubs got the seats

and the law still stands, the governorship, the state House and the state Senate are still in Dem control

seeing what just happened to two of their buddies

one being the majority leader

they might want to re think their stance on the issue

It is good news. A clear message to the anti gun nuts like Bloomberg. And as expected, the libs are already spewing their ridiculous rhetoric.

So the gun whacks picked the two weakest politicians they could find and dumped a truckload of money on them...

Not that the sensible laws passed after the Holmes Massacre will be overturned. No politician wants to own the next James Holmes.

Dems spent $3,000,000

Repubs spent $300,000

In case your math isn't very good - the Dems outspent the Repubs 10-1. Money wasted. They got their asses waxed.

Indeed.

Many elected officials get confused about who works for whom.

No confusion at all.

As you guys are fond of pointing out when someone reminds you Bush stole the 2000 election, we are a Representative Republic.

We expect our representatives to review issues in a depth we don't have the time or skill to understand and make good decisions.

I mean, if you want to go to direct democracy to determine gun laws, that would be awesome, but I don't think you'd like the results much.
You sure do seem proud of being unable to live your life without input from a politician.

I know you need your views handed to you. Not everyone is mentally incompetent like you, though.

WE hand our representatives their views...not the other way around.

You want an oligarchy. No, thanks.

Uh, okay, guy, if we did that, we'd have the kind of communism you'd be against. We'd vote ourselves all sorts of goodies and we'd vote to never pay for them.

As a matter of fact, that IS the problem we have now. You Republicans squueeeeeellll all day about the programs you want to cut... but you never actually cut anything.

Uh, no, they really didn't. In fact, the Gun nutters spent $10,000 more, and Bloomberg didn't step in until the last minute, which is the other part of the problem.

But again, no one is going to rush out to overturn those laws. Even these two douchebags don't want to own the next Joker Holmes.

The lies never end from you do they?

From the Colorado Observer:

Recall opponents, floating on oceans of money funneled into the recall contests by billionaire New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, outspent recall backers by a whopping 7 to 1 margin.

How do you expect anyone to take you seriously when you outright lie so damn much? It's a mindbogglingly stupid tactic.

Yes, gun control is a losing issue. And when another bunch of children die for the right of the gunnuts to own military grade weapons that are of no legal use, they will once again defend the right of the insane to own such weapons. Just as today they defend the right of parents to kill their children by carelessly leaving loaded guns where children can get them.

So only children are at risk?

Keep milking the dead baby aspect.

Speaking of which; How many babies have you folks aborted so far?

What mindbogging is that you take these propagando posts seriously.

Come on, someone who accused Bloomberg of "buying" the recall can't be taken seriously.

Nice attempted dodge, dipshit. You got served bitch.
