More than 75 percent of Americans aren’t getting enough exercise, according to CDC standards

Wrong in every aspect.
Let's see.
Exercise is what the body is made for.
The body is made for work and activity.
It needs it and functions much more efficiently when one is physically fit.
It doesn't 'need' regimented exercise to be physically fit.
One reason for the Abnormally high rates of disease in america is from lack of exercise and poor diets.
A healthy person seeks physical activity such as the various physical sports. Our diets aren't the problem. It's how much we eat, and how and when we eat (hint: the only part of one's digestive system that has teeth is the mouth).
Working a lot isn't normal.
Most shun physical work in favor of sitting at a desk. They then go to the gym to make up for what their job and other activities should have provided. Regarding work; people don't work enough, or hard enough, as is evidenced by the general lack of sustaining wealth at retirement time.
