Most Americans like Socialism

[Q

No, socialism is social democracy with intelligent regulation to protect workers and the environment, and assistance for the young, the old, and the unfortunate.

Love the way you dupes slide from communism to socialism and back as if they're the same thing. NOT! Especielly since 1935-47 when the myth of the USSR was blown up...

Socialism is thievery by the government. You get that when the greedy majority (sometimes only a plurality) finds out that they can use the filthy ass government to steal things they are too sorry to earn themselves. It is despicable and it usually has disastrous results for an economy as we are seeing here in the US with increased poverty and lower family incomes.

I am quite capable of determining if somebody else needs my help. I am a generous person and don't mind helping those that really need it. However, I believe charity should come from the heart, family and church not by force from a bloated out of control corrupt debt ridden government.

New Zealand is a capitalist, free market, democratic country and Europe is a mess....see Greece, Spain, Portugal....

See Europe, Oz, NZ, stupid- works WITHOUT our amazing natural resources...
Quit talking about Australia idiot, they got rif of there asinine job killer carbon credit law and rethinking there minimum wage. God you are dumb and don't know world news.

Have you ever been to Spain or Portugal? I have, and I've been to most major US and many European Cities. The streets of LIsbon and Barcelona are clean, absent pot holes or cracked sidewalks and the light rail in Barcelona is modern and very clean. In Europe the people have adapted to the high cost of fuel, Smart Cars are ubiquitous (sorry, that mean plentiful) and a huge SUV is a rare sight.

Lol. A trust fund baby has been to Spain? Went to all of the vacation spots.

You cannot make this stuff up.

How the fuck can you have a SUV? Those European country's are small as crap, way to many people, not the wide open spaces of America ,

Stupid shit.

Are you an imbecile or something?

No offense, but Puddly Pillowbite wears the assclown. If you see an assclown avatar, it is your assurance that the poster who has that avie has an IQ less than 40. Pillowbite CLEARLY advertises that he is a drooling retard, so why would you ask if he is an imbecile? His avatar already told you he is an imbecile.

People also "adapted" to concentration camps. That doesn't make it a desirable way to live. I prefer to adapt to wealth rather than poverty.

I have not, I wasn't born into a trust fund - part of the reason I'm not a leftist.

But I have been to Britain, France, and the Netherlands. I have a 2300 sq ft. house, which is considered moderate to small in America. (no doubt the play room mumsy and dadda built you when you were young was far larger!) I remember eating dinner at the home of the president of one of our acquisitions in Birmingham, that was at best 600 sq ft. This was someone with title and salary well above mine. I figured that it was just because England is an island. But France outside of Paris is almost worse, bedrooms smaller than my wife's walk-in closet. I don't recall many "Smart" branded cars, but the Toyota and Nissan cars were all golf cart sized. Nothing shocks you quite like going to a supermarket in the Hague. Holy crap, 15 Euros for a gallon of milk? Italian wines like Ruffino that run $5 a bottle in California run $30 Euros. You didn't notice because you had daddy's credit card - but Americans live vastly more luxurious lives than Europeans do.

As always, you know nada. Spain is full of empty spaces. See Dr Zhivago or spagetti westerns? EU cars coming here have to have their suspensions softened for our shytty roads...

The VAT tax does place a burden on the European consumer, I recall buying tooth paste in Italy and suffering 'sticker shock'. I was raised in a row house in San Francisco, three bedrooms, one bath and around 1,100 sq. ft.

The Smart Car isn't a brand within your meaning, it is a two-seat MBZ half the size of an American compact and ubiquitous, along with motorized bikes, in the major cities of Europe, all of which have public transportation.

Some Americans "live vastly more luxurious lives than Europeans do" but other than a few growing enclaves poverty in Europe is not as visible as it is in the US.

I know Spain is in dire economics straits. You're blabbering away to deflect from the fact that...wait for it....socialism HAS NEVER WORKED...and never will

Too bad you get no vacation till you're an angry family man. Other modern countries (SOCIALISTS!!) get 5-6 weeks after a year and actually understand other countries instead of just doing ugly American carping...big cars, big houses....big egos, big covert war mongering, big corrupt Pub world depressions...I'm just pissed they hate Americans instead of a-hole Pubs and functional shyttehead dupes...

People also "adapted" to concentration camps, only if suffering serious health issues and death are forms of adaption. You really don't think before you post.

I was in Spain for '92-'94, they had 25% UE then, bfd! They were doing great until they listened to a-hole Pub Booshie bankers...same in Greece.

I don't owe anybody anything. If I chose to help them fine. If my help "degrades" them then fuck 'em.

Under Obama the welfare rolls have grown as also the poverty level and household income has decreased. He has pretty well advanced the welfare state with his tremendous growth in the Federal government. The sonofabitch is spending almost $4 trillion dollars a year and has us in debt to the tune of $18 trillion.

As far as Bush he is a Liberal just like all Democrats and he grew the size of government, increased entitlements and added to the debt. The same things you expect from Democrats and that is the reason I am not a Republican. However, that "worldwide depression" that you mentioned started when the Democrats and shitheads like Senator Obama, Barney Queerboy, Nancy Peolski and Harry Reid took over Congress after the disastrous 2006 election.

I don't need the friggin filthy ass corrupt and inefficient government stealing my hard earned money and then giving it away it away to somebody else. If you want the government to do that then just send them your money. Put your money where your mouth is. The government will take it and then you can feel that you did your civil duty, or whatever. In the meantime leave me out of it. I am much more capable of determining who is deserving of my charity than any stupid corrupt incompetent bureaucrat that was elected by special interest groups.
