All what "record?" If there are no charges against you, then you have done NOTHING wrong. You don't understand people's rights at all do you? It's not just the 2nd amendment that escapes you, it is every right! Damn you are stupid and you show it more and more every time you post.
Come on, you can't have it both ways.
Either Cruz was a totally innocent kid who just shot some people up one day, in which case we should really question access to guns.
Or he had a record that should have set some alarm bells off.
This ain't brain surgery, Crazy Cat Lady.
Because of our rights, it is not easy to just have a person committed. They have to show clearly to an authority (such as a police officer, a judge or a psychiatrist or doctor) that they are experiencing suicidal or homicidal ideation. If such ideas are not expressed, then there will most likely be NO involuntary commitment. They police, judges and doctors can order a person held on a 5150 for up to 72 hours if they feel they are a danger to themselves or others.
Okay, okay, so let me get this straight. You have a right to be crazy, and a right to have a gun, and you wonder why crazy people shoot things up.
