Remaking the Senate is a fantasy, regardless. The Constitution says the arrangement is un-amendable, stipulating in Article 5 setting out the amendment process that “no state, without its consent, shall be deprived of its equal suffrage in the Senate.” Even if this language can be struck by amendment anyway, it would require the assent of some smaller states that wouldn’t be enamored with reducing their own relative power so California can have more.

If so, Trump will have overseen the fastest dollar increase in the debt in just three years.


Trump's Fiscal Year 2019 budget projects the debt will increase $8.3 trillion during his first term. It's almost as much as Obama added in two terms while fighting a recession. Trump has not fulfilled his campaign promise to cut the debt. Instead, he's done the opposite."

No, the American people did elect Trump and his agenda. That is an undeniable fact. The rules of the electoral college should have been known to the Clintons. Bill Clinton was a two term president. Hillary was first lady and US Senator. Yet, somehow, they didn't understand how the system worked after over 40 years in politics. Trump focused on the battle ground states and won almost all of them. Because the Dem field is so weak, I am pretty sure Hillary will be back for another run. And, we will see how the rematch goes. My only hope is that Jeb! comes back to challenge Trump for the nomination so I can see him crush the Clinton and Bush dynasties back to back for a second time.
