I'm not sure what the link means. It says that California ranks 5th in state homelessness after Washington D.C., NY, Hawaii and Oregon (all states run by liberal democrats). Years ago when I visited Seattle i was shocked that all the once beautiful parks which were set up for the enjoyment of the people were full of semi-permanent sheds, tents and tarps full of deranged alcoholics and drug addicts. I guess it's like that all over the left coast.

Exactly! Once public spaces have become the de facto property of mentally ill substance abusers of all sorts.
I remember Seattle, where my relatives lived, as a lovely beautiful place. Now it's squalid, ugly and mean.

$241 million dollars per year for the homeless in San Francisco. Where does it all go? The city of San Francisco has done an absolutely horrible awful job of administrating all the money and most of it goes to people not even considered homeless.

Sure, There are more homeless people with areas of very high cost of living. Seems that is just a byproduct of your prefered economic brand of capitalism.
