Allred is great at jumping in front of the marching band, then declaring victory. Packwood was facing 10 accusations and pressure from Mitch McConnell and many others. Yeah I kinda feel that way also.

But that being said- seeing how the women who have come forward have been attacked, going to someone like Gloria Alred probably makes sense.

We will have to see what else comes out. I did expect that after the 4 women came forward we would likely hear from others.

What makes this one less believable to me is that there was implied force there- which was not part of the other women's stories. That doesn't mean its not true- it just doesn't seem to quite match up with the others.

Maybe they go to Alred because she doesn't charge them. She may not charge them because she gets enough financially from the publicity. Just speculating. Lawyers are expensive and if you are the victim, doesn't seem reasonable you should go into debt just to report these kinds of things,

I remember the first time I went to New Orleans. Several friends and I visited there during the Super Bowl. We were walking down Bourbon Street about one in the morning, and we saw Jimmy Johnson (coach of the Dallas Cowboys) walking down the middle of the street with an underaged hooker on each arm. He was grinning ear to ear, just as proud as could be, basking in the adoration of the people on the street.
