But according to him and his supporters/bootlickers, he easily won the debate. So why mess with that formula for success?

""Campaign advisers to Donald J. Trump, concerned that his focus and objectives had dissolved during the first presidential debate on Monday, plan to more rigorously prepare him for his next face-off with Hillary Clinton by drilling the Republican nominee on crucial answers, facts and counterattacks, and by coaching him on ways to whack Mrs. Clinton on issues even if he is not asked about them.

Whether he is open to practicing meticulously is a major concern, however, according to some of these advisers and others close to Mr. Trump.""

Gee a far left drone quoting a far left blog site, who would have thunk it..

Watch out when the NY Times gives free unsolicited advice to a republican. What the establishment republicans and the democrats don't get is that Trump says what he thinks. Hillary is the structured, memorize, practice, practice, practice candidate and she comes off as a wooden freaking liar who couldn't tell the truth if she had to. Lucky for her she has fake moderates like Lester Holt who have her back.

One out of four GOP women now say they can't vote for Trump.

Let him keep talking, and see what happens with that.

He obviously has to practice more. He needs those answers pat and be ready to spout zingers that would knock Hillary off her stride. As usual, she wasn't asked about pertinent situations that could cause her to lose the election or worse, drop out.

Lester Holt wasn't interested in her email server that put confidential and top secret material at risk but he was interested in what Trump thought about Obama's birthplace years ago. He wasn't interested in Hillary's health when pictures of her dropping down before she gets into a van, being helped up the stairs or Secret Service holding her, saying, "You're going to be fine. Just keep on talking..." right into the mic.

No questions on the Clinton Foundation, "Pay to Play", Uranium One, but headlines come out regarding Trumps comment on a lady's weight. Just what is more important to our country.?

She doesn't have a legitimate answer to anything without memorizing the question and answer. That's why she doesn't do many press conferences. She doesn't have the answers memorized.

Trump didn't practice, that was painfully obvious. He needs to know when to shut his trap, when to open it, and when to say just enough then stop. He can't help himself, he takes the bait every damn time. I actually winced at him during the debate. His body language over the course of the debate screamed 'defense!'. I can't STAND mrs bill. I want her to take a long walk off a short pier and then go to jail forever. She came off way more 'sane' than he did. All she had to do was stick to points and not bite. She stopped herself from butting in during his ramblings and the quieter she was the louder Trump got. She played him. smh

ffs, he's running for potus. He needs to fucking act like it and stop yapping like a triggered snowflake. And for God's sake, don't double down on trivial shit the next day! The only people who give a shit that he called a lardass a lardass 20 years ago! is the clinton campaign cause they knew he'd not be able to shut up about it! The day after the debate THAT'S what's floating around on all the channels.

gaaaaaa

smh

Trump supporters, you should demand much, much, MUCH more from your candidate. Seriously.

The email issue got the time it deserved: 10 seconds. Yeah, Chief Birther Trump has some 'splainin' to do: it ain't going away. And, yeah, Trump talks bad about women, and we will get his ears boxed.

Drumpf should not change a thing.

No need to worry about that. He won't take their advice anyway, because he has such a bad case of ADHD, they can't get him to stay focused on anything for more than 20 seconds before he goes off the rails.

*It doesn't matter how long he practices.

Monday night, his good behavior only lasted 10 minutes.

Think about it this way...however refreshing it might be for us to see someone go to Washington like a boss!....Trump may not have the intellectual stamina to accept the compromises necessary for the job.

Reagan compromised every day, all day, that was his strength

Who put you in charge of defining "good behavior?" What does that mean, not putting Hillary in her place?

It's a reasonable person standard based on common sense, of which you have none, bripat.
