All this happened during Trump yet you people are trying to blame everyone but Trump who was president.

Because a President IS government.Trump cant even block people on Twitter.
A court in New York found that when President Trump blocks people on Twitter, he violates the First Amendment because he is discriminating against certain viewpoints and preventing them from participating in debate on his Twitter page.
Now you are telling me it is ok for the FBI to tell Twitter who to ban?
You left wing lying assholes are too much for me.
Stop crying, fascists. You really are this stupid aren't you?
The FBI has no business monitoring a private company for users violating that company's policies. That's the company's business.Face
Who the hell said FBI doesn't co-ordinate with social media? Why wouldn't they?
FBI sent a list of Twitter policy violators, Twitter reviewed and agreed.
VIOLATION OF 1A.
Is that in the Constitution? The FBI has no business monitoring a private company for users violating that company's policies. That's the company's business.
It is absolutely true that I do not approve of private companies getting entangled with the FBI, taking direction from them, etc. You do realize, don't you, that you would likely be front and center complaining should the FBI be headed by a TRUMP! loyalist who coordinated with either Twitter or Face Book to suppress viewpoints opposing him while championing viewpoints favorable to him? All in the name of safety, accuracy, etc., of course. Is that in the Constitution?
Tweeter has decided that it is their business and co-operated with FBI. You are the one who doesn't like how they go about their business.
Nonsense.Matt Taibbi just makes stupid stuff up. None of the messages say what he claims they say.
The ‘Twitter Files’ Is What It Claims to Expose
The purported exposé of Twitter’s political bias is itself an attempt to weaponize control of Twitter for political purposes.nymag.com
So why is he doing it? Because he's a partisan hack, and he gets paid well to create propaganda.
The goal here is to justify the ongoing consevative censorship crusade, as currently highlighted by "I'M BANNING EVERY LIBERAL FOR BEING A LIBERAL" Elon Musk, or by "I'LL MAKE IT A FEDERAL CRIME TO FACT CHECK" Donald Trump.
Needless to say, many conservatives are thrilled to see Taibbi lie, because their lives are dedicated to censorship. That's how fascists roll.
When people are posting misinformation trying to mislead voters and affect elections, it becomes a government issue. The FBI has no business monitoring a private company for users violating that company's policies. That's the company's business.
No, it does not. The vast majority of campaign ads contain lies and misinformation, and they are put out by the campaigns themselves. No one says the FBI should investigate and suppress "Granny gets pushed off the cliff", for example. Heck, if you want to pursue that line of argument, there would be maybe 2 democrat campaign ads that would be allowed to run during a campaign. When people are posting misinformation trying to mislead voters and affect elections, it becomes a government issue.
You’re missing the point. No, it does not. The vast majority of campaign ads contain lies and misinformation, and they are put out by the campaigns themselves. Quid Pro's administration has no business trying to control social media content to get himself re-elected.

Because it's nonsense. We have the freedom to lie. In that case, it's incumbent on the voter to reject the recommendation. Political messaging ads are lies, do you dispute that? Case in point that was mentioned before, "Granny gets pushed off the cliff". Lies. Should the FBI shut that down? You’re missing the point.
If someone says that people should vote November 9th (the day after the election), that’s not a political messaging ad, that’s lying to suppress voter turnout.
Why shouldn’t the FBI flag that?
Policing voter suppression isn’t nonsense.Because it's nonsense. We have the freedom to lie. In that case, it's incumbent on the voter to reject the recommendation. Nope, they didn't (and could not) enforce, they've requested review of specific activity that violated Tweeter policy and retention of related records.I didn't realize it was the FBI's job to enforce Twitter's Terms of Service for them.
Lie or not, you don't have a freedom to post on Tweeter or other private platforms in violation of their policies.Because it's nonsense. We have the freedom to lie.
