The idea and allegation here is that Manafort agreed to pass this on, likely strategically,in order to help the Russian troll farms target their efforts. And they did so, focusing on certain states late in the campaign.

That, my friend, is material support. And easing the leverage and pressure of a multi million dollar debt hanging over manafort's head is the quid pro quo.

This is so far fetched, it’s unbelievable. The charges against him had to do with the Ukraine, through 2014, when Yanucovych was ousted, and it is mentioned the Ukraine right there in the document. And the firm Manafort employed was none other than The Podesta Group, founded by Tony and Jon Podesta, who were involved with Hillary.
