A University of Georgia professor was forced to apologize after congratulating a friend who happens to be a Republican candidate for governor, according to Campus Reform.

Basically he was apologizing for not separating Brian Kemp his childhood friend from Brian Kemp, the politician pandering to xenophobic white supremacists in order to win the republican nomination..

The Dean was apologizing for giving the appearance that he endorsed campaign ads that shows Kemp pointing a shotgun at a teen in a bizarre ad, claiming he was going to round up all of the illegals in his pick up truck, proudly proclaiming his willingness to sign anti-gay legislation -- that is what the Dean was apologizing for -- now if you feel supporting all of that BS is required to be a republican, that says more about republicans than the Dean..
