Zone1 Noah's Ark

The Bible says this,

"All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died."

Fish don't live on dry land, and not all animals have nostrils.

Once again, the ark wasn't a ship. Ships are built to fight against ocean currents. The ark "went on the flood", moving along in relatively still water.

I took a hot air balloon ride once. We moved along in a 15 mph wind, but there was no apparent wind in the craft. In fact, cigarette smoke lingered as if we were in a closed room. Thus it was with the ark.

Regarding new species, doesn't the geologic record reveal whole new species of critters magically appearing in the fossil record after some cataclysm wipes out the previous ones. Did the 'ice age' last long enough for polar bears to 'evolve', or did God create them to live in that relatively new environment?

It sure is. ;)

Not all fish survive in rainwater. The ice age began 2 1/2 million years ago.

Are you an adult?

too bad, the book of forgeries and fallacies is the least likely source for the truth anywhere found on planet earth.

- the history of the desert religions is proof of the above.
It's still a best seller. What did you say your holy book was? ;)

"Guinness World Records confirms that the Bible is the best-selling book of all time, with an estimated 5 billion copies sold and distributed. It has been translated into over 700 languages, testifying to its global reach and timeless relevance."

Why do you think the flood was rainwater?

"It is unexpected and somewhat inconceivable that less than three percent of Earth's water is fresh water. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, most of that three percent is inaccessible. More than 68 percent of the fresh water on Earth is found in icecaps and glaciers, and just over 30 percent is found in ground water."

Since when does it rain saltwater? You're horrifically stupid.

When did I say it rains saltwater?

And why the nasty personal comments?

The presence of a story in the Bible does not necessarily mean that it is a literal, historical account.

The Bible contains a variety of literary genres, including allegory, metaphor, poetry, and myth. Some stories in the Bible are meant to convey moral or spiritual truths rather than historical facts.

Many scholars and theologians interpret the story of Noah's Ark as a mythological or allegorical tale that conveys important themes such as divine judgment, obedience to God, redemption, and the covenant between God and humanity. The story of the flood and the ark may not have been intended as a literal historical event, but rather as a story that teaches important lessons about faith, righteousness, and the consequences of disobedience.

The flood story is written as a historical event, not a metaphor.

not just one flood ...

they prematurely intervened to allow humanity as second chance as w/ those few left after their parting would have been no survivors at all - to complete the goal set for them by a&e the journey they chose for - self determination, remission to paradise ... the heavenly religion of antiquity.

the desert version, noahs ark is riddled w/ forgeries and fallacies - not so the truth issued by the heavens not to intervene again the fate of humanity to its conclusion.

- the desert does not recognize a conclusion where the triumph is in the favor of the heavens is why road runner wants other people to suffer than theirself when their belief will be the opposite, no one will survive and humanity is lost forever. the passing of the last good person on earth.

In the Babylonian myth, the gods send the Flood to solve the problem of overpopulation. However, the god Ea, god of intelligence and helper of man, forewarns Atrahasis of the flood and instructs him to build a boat and 'save living things'. The deluge lasted for seven days and nights, wiping away humanity.

Was there really two of every animal in the whole entire world? Also, if all of creation was made in six days does that mean humans and dinosaurs lived together after all? I don't think that they meant literal twenty-four hour days there I was just wondering what the general consensus was for that question. Oh and why only promise to have one flood when the earth desperately needs it now?

I have constantly heard that every mythology has its own version to explain why the ocean rose after the last ice age ended(roughly 10,000 years ago).
