NY DA Says No Charges For Trump Org.

Anyone remember Alfonso Capone? Big Time Mob Boss who died of the clap he contacted when he was raped at Alcatraz? Yeah him, they got in Tax Evasion as well.

Conspiracy, Tax Evasion, Destruction of Tax Documents.

You can add Leona Helmsley and Wesley Snips who thought being rich and famous who thought the law did no apply to them.

Even a conviction of Tax Evasion, and Tax Fraud along Conspiracy is enough to drive the supposed empire of the Traitor into bankruptcy.

Go after his money, what little has left after losing so many lawsuits. OH yea, the Traitor ain't famous for paying his legal help either, so finding lawyer with a dummy sign around neck will be very difficult.
Yep......but show me where Trump was indicted and you just might have a point.
Your thread title has been proven wrong. Admit it and move on.
No it hasn't. They indicted one guy. They didn't indict Trump or his organization.
You are embarrassing yourself. The Trump Organization was obviously indicted.

Nope. You're embarrassing yourself.
The story claims he's in the Trump organization....but the story later claims that they're still investigating (looking for dirt) of a criminal nature against the Trump Organization.
Here is some evidence that even the most dim-witted, brain-dead Trumper has to be find acceptable.

The first page of the indictment itself.

Look, the Trump Organization is listed as a defendant!.

Honestly Mud, you making a complete ass of yourself. Admit you were wrong.
Do you have something like a link....because this is a screenshot.
Now.....point out the crime Trump is accused of personally.
Huh? My point was limited just towards your thread title only. I never said or insinuated that Trump was personally indicted only the Trump Organization. Do you admit your thread title was in error?

Wrong,

The Trump Organization and Chief Financial Officer Allen Weisselberg pleaded not guilty Thursday to crimes related to what prosecutors called a “sweeping and audacious” scheme to avoid taxes on compensation for the CFO and other executives.

That's not exactly correct. The story says that the Trump Organization was indicted.....but later says they're still looking to indict the Trump Organization on criminal charges. So.....why would they say that unless they lied earlier in the story.
THE GRAND JURY OF THE COUNTY OF NEW YORK, by this indictment, accuses the Trump Corporation, d/b/a the Trump Organization, Trump Payroll Corp. dba the Trump Organization, and Allen Weisselberg of the crime ofSCHEME TO DEFRAUD IN THE FIRST DEGREE, in violation of Penal Law § 190.65(1)(3), committed as follows:

Can you read? That is the first line of the indictment.

Yeah.....they can accuse him of alot.....whether or not this implicates Trump is highly debatable.
As I laid out in the OP....they had no charges against Trump for any wrongdoing....and to be clear.....they only included Trump Org as a defendant to make this sound more serious. If anything...Trump has more of a beef against this guy than the state of New York.

No.....because that is what was reported at the time.
And your claims are what has been reported today.....all of which can be later proven to be totally bogus.

Now.....point out the crime Trump is accused of personally.
Oops, forgot your thread title already, eh?
No....didn't forget it.
Again.....I think the Manhattan District Attorney (Cyrus Vance jr) is as corrupt as they come.....and he can put anything on paper he wants.....it's not going to change the facts of the case.
330px-Cyrus_Vance_Junior.jpg

Cyrus Vance jr is a sleazy as he Dad was. He has a terrible habit of grandstanding during cases to make them appear worse than they really are.

Abacus Federal Savings Bank case

In 2009, Abacus Federal Savings Bank, a small Chinese-American family-run bank in New York City's Chinatown, self-reported a mortgage fraud committed by an ex-employee to its regulators. It led Cyrus Vance's office to later accuse the bank itself of mortgage fraud. In an unusual move characterized by critics as an effort at grandstanding, Vance's office orchestrated a parade of ex-employees of the bank in a chain, handcuffed to each other, in front of reporters.[50] After Vance spent five years and $10 million prosecuting the bank for larceny, the bank and its employees were found not guilty on all 80 charges.

So this shit is typical for this jerk.

FYI, Trump hasn't been running his company for nearly 5 years...and CFO was supposed to be doing the job he was paid to do. If the claims that are being made by these corrupt attorneys are correct (which remains to be seen) the worst they will be able to do is lock this guy up.....but I think they're trying to scare him into signing a false statement to get Trump....just like they've tried to do with others before him.

Yeah.....they can accuse him of alot.....whether or not this implicates Trump is highly debatable.
But whether an old man with no possibility of a presidential pardon and who is facing a decade in prison will flip on the orange slob isn't really debatable. The answer is yes.
Unfortunately....we have a history of these tools trying to get people to perjure themselves in court against Trump.....so flipping the guy isn't going to be legitimate.

No, the Trump organization was included because the organization is responsible. When you drive a company car, it is the responsibility of the company to assign a value to that "benefit" and report it to the IRS. The same holds true for an apartment. And it does not matter if the employee pays a bit for that benefit, rather it is for the personal use of a company car, or paying a reduced rental rate for a property. You can find the IRS guidelines here,

Glancing over the indictment, and reviewing the IRS guidelines, I can see a possible defense, from the exemptions

Lodging on your business premisesExempt if furnished on your business premises, for your convenience, and as a condition of employment.

Problem is that Trump properties did not own the apartment, well covered in the indictment.

The problem with all of this is that the left thinks this is proof that Trump is a crook....when this doesn't prove anything of the sort. Clearly his org can be held responsible....but the guy running it is the primary reason this oversight happened. The indictment claims this was a scheme of some sorts. That remains to be seen.

I agree with you. After reading the indictment, it may be an overreach.

The problem with all of this is that the left thinks this is proof that Trump is a crook....when this doesn't prove anything of the sort
Your choices are that he is a criminal and directed all of this. Or that he is an oblivious idiot with no leadership skills and very poor judgment of character.

Pick your poison.

Neither.....first....they have to prove all of this.......and second.....Trump wouldn't be the first person that got screwed by his accountant.
