I've seen it on supermarket tabloids, which means it has about a 0% chance of being true.

As for the OP, it would take something truly serious to keep Obama from running again in 2012. It would take something even worse to keep him from winning.

It does not take rocket science to realize it was a politicalmove.
He gave some....not all...but some....reason to believe that all of his decisons are NOT politically driven.
He plans to run in 2012.....he is counting on what he has alrewady proven to be true....there is a large minority of people that would believe anything he says.

When he swore he did not bow to the king months ago even though it was on film is an example of this.

So....43% voted in favor, yet you want to point this out as "nearly all"....strange math, but coming out of the Bush era, this does nto shock me. The bigger point is, SO WHAT if all of the Democrats voted in favor of it? The information both Democrats and Republicans were given was bogus.
