Obamacare: 74% of newly insured Republicans are happy with the plans they bought

Ha. And the Commonwealth Fund is nothing but a mouthpiece for Obamacare. How much of a fool do you take us for?

Do you remember who said this a few months ago?

"Attack the messenger, not the message? Is that it? How uncouth and childish."

Do you need to be reminded, again?

Do you need to be reminded that the numbers with which progressives sold the ACA to the public have been shown to be a complete misrepresentation of what's really going to happen?

The truth is...you folks lied to the American people about both what the ACA was and how much it would cost and they are slowly figuring out how big of a lie it was.

You can jabber like a monkey all you want but the truth will continue on its way.

Republicans who signed up for Obamacare this year are liking their new insurance coverage, according to a new survey.

A poll of Obamacare enrollees published Thursday by the Commonwealth Fund found that 74 percent of newly insured Republicans are happy with the plans they bought. Overall, 77 percent of people who had insurance prior to the rollout of the Affordable Care Act said they are pleased with the new coverage they obtained in the last year.

I was tempted to reply but I don't even want to be seen in the same thread with a moron like you!

Looks like Obamacare (Affordable Care Act) is here to stay. What we really need is Single-Payer.

so does that mean the 60% who hate it are all democrats?

I would respond but I don't even want to be seen in the same thread with a moron like you.

to late....

Use your heads people. Why wouldn't most people be happy with the plans they bought?

Lol. You know this thread is wrong. So, this is why you insult others.

"Jabbering like a monkey" sure, very mature.

For the third time, provide us with a shred of evidence that the poll is inaccurate in some way.

Really? Then why are 3/4 of those who bought Obamacare happy with their plan - including Republicans?

Because you believe in what a biased polling firm says. Whereas 54% of America disapprove of the law altogether.

That number includes those who disapprove because they don't think the law went far enough.

I thought you'd never ask. Simply read the fine print on that infographic Lakhota posted:

Notes: Includes individuals who enrolled in Medicaid outside of the marketplaces but have been covered by Medicaid for less than 1 year. People surveyed self-identified as Republican or Democrat.

Simply put, those who enrolled outside of the marketplaces did not take part in Obamacare. That renders the entire poll inaccurate, Carbine.

Use your heads people. Why wouldn't most people be happy with the plans they bought?

Because a biased polling firm said they were.

In order to be biased there would have to be specific characteristics of the polling method that were designed to produce the biased result.

What are they?

Claiming Medicaid enrollees who did not sign up for coverage in the marketplaces as those who were satisfied with their plans under Obamacare? Really?

Well maybe you can explain the fine print there?

number includes people who are on Medicaid and did not sign up through Obamacare or exchanges. People self-identified as Republican or Democrat

Explain it to yourself. It is what it is. Maybe this will help:

Study: Obamacare Reduces Uninsured Rate Dramatically - Business Insider

Again the SAME study YOU first cited.

Please answer the simple question.

The study clearly states THEY USED newly insured people who did not sign up for Obamacare and DID NOT sign up through exchanges, but used Medicaid patients.

IMO this skews any study and claims about ACA or exchanges, wouldn't you agree?

The heading in the graphic clearly states who was polled.

Obamacare included a Medicaid expansion. How can you not know that?

Still debunks the idea that over three quarters of Republicans are satisfied with the law. What do you think they have been trying to do to it for the past 4 years?

I do, but if you pulled your head out of your posterior, you would know that Medicaid exists outside of the exchanges as well.

The study only polled Republicans who got plans or Medicaid through Obamacare.

That is obviously not all Republicans because most Americans are not in either of the above.

Read the notes on the bottom left:

"People surveyed self-identified as Republican or Democrat"

Can you not read? Or are you being this obtuse on purpose?

Thread is horse shit.

No more needs to be said.

The vast majority of Americans WERE and STILL ARE against obamacare, even after the kenyan ILLEGALLY DELAYED provisions of it to DELAY the FINANCIAL PAIN that is STILL COMING.

Thread is horse shit.

FAIL.

BULLSHYTTE. A majority is against stopping it, and many against it want single payer, which is STUPID, because SP won't happen for a long time, and ACA will work just fine.

I see red states had 38% with no insurance before, 36% now. Terminally stupid, greedy, and cruel. Great job, Pubbies.
