ok is trying to alienate teachers?

A link please, confirming exactly that ^, your obtuseness. Just that^ would be ducky!
Everything a teacher says and does in a class.

That's knowing exactly what goes on in a class exactly how it happened. Not some second hand account

Why do you have to keep a whole year in storage? Oh yeah you don't.

Parent requests to see the vi deo of a kids math class. The school can give him access to one that was recorded yesterday. It would be no different than that parent asking to sit in on that math class. He can't sit in on a math class from a year ago now can he?

What if the parent is too busy at work to see the video the next day? What if they want to see it 3 months from now? Should they not have that right?

Then he can get the next class that's taped.

Keeping video for a 5 day school week is more than sufficient to give parents the ability to watch a class

Why not just ask their kid? Can't trust 'em or what?

A parent of one student would have 300 minutes of video to watch each day. What is the point of recording if you are just going to destroy it in a couple days?

You keep inventing nonsensical scenarios.

This from the guy that invented the super secure room parents would make an appointment to go watch the videos in...but now they have to do within a week or they are SOL

Uh I'm a conservative and I think this is a horrible idea. Not because I am afraid of being accountable. I have already told this guy that anyone can see my past evaluations, personnel file and salary.

For the students. He does not have the right to spy in on other kids.

Yet you'll notice that all the lefties are on your side in this thread, that should tell you something.

It is the difference between looking at someone as you walk down the street or recording them without their permission.

So when you're on vacation, or you're recording a birthday celebration at a restaurant or taking a photo, you're getting the permission of everyone in the background before you do it?

I now work for the military, and we have to have a secure connection for some of our work with PII and PHI. In the last two weeks, we have secured getting one person's computer up and running properly. He's an IT specialist in his other job.

Gotta love the gubbermint.... they take 100 times longer and 100 times more money to do things compared to anyone in the private sector. I work for a major financial firm, and if it took us that long to get secure laptops out to employees we'd go out of business.

They got to the moon. The private segment still has not.

So now you just doubled the number of needed classroom and the number of needed teachers.

Great plan

How so? You have 60 students, three teachers, 42 agree to the video, 18 do not. 18 in one classroom, 21 in the 2nd, and 21 in the 3rd. You'd have to consider scenarios where the numbers may be more skewed to one side, and then come up with other alternatives. You want the entire plan down to the minutest detail handed to you, or it's just an impossible task, but you only demand that because you know that's the only way you can keep arguing against it. You're totally unwilling to have an open mind and consider that there could be options that would work, put together by people that have more experience on the subject than either of us. I know why you're unwilling, it just keeps the argument going in circles, which is has for over 30 pages now.

That's because the private sector is about a return on investment, the government is run on our money, they could care less how much they waste for no return, they just raise your taxes.
