Parent Arrested For Protesting Use of Common Core

One, the rules were made know in plenty of time.

Two, the man knew he could have submitted a written question and have it answered.

Three, the man was allowed to rant for almost a minute before security stepped in.

Four, the cop clearly identified himself as such and tried to quiet the situation.

Five, the man continued to argue at the back of the room for almost two minutes.

No one, not Goofy or Dopey or Righty or Lefty or anybody, gets to ignore the rules and disrupt the public business.

No, disrupting the public business is what being a citizen is about.

People get thrown out of public meetings all the time.

no wonder they don't want to really discuss Common Core.....take a quick look at an example of what they are teaching first graders in English Language Arts (ELA)...

The officer pushed Small and then escorted him into the hall, handcuffed him and had him sit on the curb in front of the school. He was taken to the Towson precinct and detained. Small was charged with second-degree assault of a police officer, which carries a fine of $2,500 and up to 10 years in prison, and disturbing a school operation, which carries a fine of $2,500 and up to six months
Parent arrested at forum after protesting use of common core - Baltimore Sun

Should be dismissed. If there is any abuse here, it is the charges. If anyone was assaulted, it was the Parent, Assaulted, and railroaded. Regardless of you claim, the Administration handled it very poorly.

"The format of the forum did not allow the public to stand and ask a question. Instead, those who wanted questions answered had to write them on a piece of paper. Dance read the questions and had members of a panel, which included state schools Superintendent Lillian Lowery, answer them.

When Small started speaking, Dance told him that he believed his question would be answered, but Small continued to talk. After a couple of minutes, a security guard confronted Small, saying, "Let's go. Let's go."

So again we find another "persecution" article that is misleading or wrong.

If it was so misleading, how come you found those facts in the link?

Yer smart.

I read this several days ago and decided to not bring it here for the reasons you pointed out.

That isn't the point.

Since when are we supposed to sit queitly on our hands and not question those in positions of power?

Since when?

Since when is it a arrestable, imprisonable, prosecutable offense to ask someone in power a question? Are we to sit like good little Nazis and not question authority? Is that how you'd like it?

No doubt.

And do you think for one fucking second anybody else, like for instance, the DISGUSTING FILTH in the LSM was going to question the God obama and His edicts?

Political Meetings get disrupted all the time without anybody going to jail and being charged with a felony.

ALL the time
Ahh, the Nazi retort. Ammunition for the weak minded.

If this guy didnt follow the set-up then he was wrong in the way he handled the situation.
At the sametime that type of set-up is really disgusting. Its tailored for cherry picking and no real info being talked about.

No, it's to allow the most number of people access to asking a question rather then having the whole hour sucked up by a couple attention grabbing whores like this guy who won't listen, won't shut up or won't sit down when asked.

Yes, ve must haff our papahs in ordah and allow the powers that be to set the agenda.

They'll answer your questions when and if they decide. No debate. No differences of opinion allowed.

Ve must haff order!

So someone disturbed "the set-up" protocol during a school meeting...like that is something new......is this a valid reason for ARRESTING the concerned parent....?

...it's not like he was shooting or hitting or throwing pies at the school administrator...i didn't see anything of the sort on the video from the time he started his question till the time the 'officer' took him out....

why not just let him get his questions out and then answer them....?
it's because they didn't want to answer them...
no he was arrested for battery on an officer. He wasnt arrested for speaking his mind. you are not being honest with what happened. The "officer" showed him his "badge" around his neck.

He was removed because he wasnt following the plan of the meeting.
That being said again its a stupid format, and the man should have been able to voice his opinion freely without being removed.

naturally they didnt want to answer them, but that is irrelevant. Either follow the rules or get removed. Its that simple. If the question matters that much, wait till you have a more open forum, or write a letter.

its cherry picking and creates zero real back and forth between the parents and board. Its stupid, but its also what you stated as well.

Nazis seem to hate it for sure.

you need to look up what 2nd degree assault on an officer is and compare it to the video. Him juking and such could be considered resisting arrest. At most the guy will probation and a fine of some sort. Best case he gets a verbal warning and pays some court fees.

regardless he didnt follow the rules and thus this happened.

At no time did Small assault the security guard, it was the other way around. Thank god for cameras.

They had a system set up that they used before to allow as many questions to be asked in the time frame of the meeting. This ass thought "You're not the boss of me, I DO WHAT I WANT!", stood up out of order, interrupted another speaker and then whined for several minutes before they sent in security. There were no questions, there was no debate, just this little prick mouthing off because he liked the attention and had grabbed "the conch"...heheh.

This is choice though...

"As he was being taken out, Small said, "Don't stand for this. You are sitting here like cattle." Then he said, "Is this America?"

Heheh...what a doofus. Hope he gets jail time.

Of course you do. Fascist progressives always target #1, children....and #2, dissenters. #1 for programming, #2 for death.
