You do realize the communist party changed their name to the progressive party in around 1958 to be more palatable, because the term communism had such a negative view in the U.S.
Initially that commie party under it's new name was independent of Dems, but to gain their voter base Dems absorbed the radicals and they slowly took over the party.- get educated.

In 1958, the JBS was attacking Eisenhower and his bunch saying they were a bunch of Commies. You MAGAts originated attacking what I term as the GOAT of all Presidents. And you haven't changed a bit.
