What are the chances Trump drops out?

Trump's campaign staff is in disarray and it's time for him to start writing BIG, BIG checks, RIGHT NOW.

What are the chances he just drops out one day and leaves the GOP high and dry?

He's not a conservative, and he's been at odds with the party since Day One, why would he care?

if he is going to bail, it will be right before the Convention.
I disagree. If he were to do it itself think it would be after the first debate if his poll numbers are in the gutter. The damage to his ego if he thought he might lose badly could be the trigger.

That would then lead to the conspiracy of "the fix" being in.
I wouldn't take it that far myself. He doesn't strike me as a morally wealthy man so it wouldn't surprise me if he left our country hanging like that.

I wonder what procedures are in place if a main party candidate decided to drop out after the conventions.

Yikes.

Yikes indeed.

Also to contend with is the timing on whether a person can be removed from the ballot as the RNC Candidate, and last chance to go on the ballot as an Independent, if he went that route?

I think the independent route ship has already sailed, as lots of States have "sore loser" laws.

On waivers until it are over for Republican Party this election.
Maybe Trump will leave his post now for Republican Party.

The R party is NOT a conservative party. Little Johnny McCant, dipshit Mitt, and doofus W can hardly be considered conservative, yet the party lined up behind them. Why not Trump? Because the R party is about protecting the Oligarchy/Establishment, just as is the D party. The D party has their establishment 1% owned candidate. Trump threatens this good old boy network. As such, he must be denigrated and marginalized by the Oligarchy/Establishment.

100% correct.

This isn't about Dem vs Rep anymore

It's DC Elite vs the peasants. Sadly....liberal peasants are lining up in formation behind the wealthy DC elite.

WTF? His campaign is not in disarray at all. Corey had to go. That was to be expected because as awesome as he was in the primaries the general is a whole new ball game. Manafort is completely in charge now as far as I know. Very talented. And no way in hell is Trump going to bail.

Why should he? He just beat the ever loving shit out of 16 competitors. AND WON bigger than any other R candidate in 30 years.
He just fired his campaign manager who then said in an interview he didn't know why he'd been fired, his fund raising is abysmal and his organization is lacking and he's way behind in the polls against Clinton.

Looks like disarray, walks like disarray, quacks like disarray... probably is disarray.

You don't know his team for jack shit do you? Corey had to leave. Call it fired like the lib headlines all you want; I call it "campaign restructuring for the general".

He was a great primary campaign manager taking the most unlikely Presidential candidate and not the easiest to work with and beating the shit out of all the other opponents to become the nominee,And kudos to Corey for doing just that.

But Corey is just not for the general. He just doesn't have enough experience. With Manafort clearly in charge now they can prep for the general once the convention is over.

And the polls by the way last week were seriously skewered by oversampling of D's. One in particular had Clinton ahead by 7% but the oversampling of D's was by 7%. Gee how did they come up with Clinton by 7%?

You always have to go to the methodology of any poll to understand it.

So you know the internal workings of Trump's campaign? Fascinating. If all was above board, then why didn't Trump have a press conference with Lewandowski resigning instead of having him escorted out of the building by security? Dumbass. You don't just drink the KoolAid, you're the whole pitcher.
Trump is mentally unstable, him being elected would cause havoc in the world markets, a mentally unstable person like trump is the last person we need in charge of a nuclear arsenal , he should stick with the reality shows or become a game show host

I hope on Hillary Clinton, Gary Johnson and Ted Cruz this north european evening. Next president will been 1 or 2 of three of my wanted list.

Clinton isn't it or.

Wow, the level of apologetics and spin here would make even a left wing gub'mint worshiping lemming blanch.

No I don't know his "team" (neither do you) and I don't want to know his fucking "team" because from what I can see they're a bunch of incompetent boobs who work for a loud mouthed jackass that's likely to go down in flames.

Lewandowski was fired, end of story, even he says he was fired, so no it wasn't something the media just made up.

As far as the polls go, are you seriously claiming that EVERY poll in the RCP Average is skewed toward Clinton? Because every poll in the RCP average shows Clinton ahead anywhere from 2 to 12 points with an average of Clinton +5.8 (+5.6 when you add Johnson into the mix).

There's also the issues of Trumps abysmal fund raising and lack of organization which you completely ignored.

So I say again...

Looks like disarray, walks like disarray, quacks like disarray.. probably is disarray and no amount of partisan pom-pom waiving and apologist gymnastics is going to change that, the Trump campaign better get their shit together or it's going to be a ugly for the Republicrats come November.

Surprise, surprise. :0)

NOTHING could be more obvious then Donald Trump being a FRAUD. NOTHING. :0)

Yet his horde of followers just couldn't figure it out. ..

This says FAR more about the morons who bought his act then it does about Trump. :0) It proves you are morons.

Me?

I "bought his act"?

Link?

Does Donald J. Trump and his voters care deeply about any of those items except for the White House?

No!

He does not care about the House, he does not care about the Senate. He does not care about policy outcomes. He has a very limited shadow of the future and a very narrow give a fuck space that barely intersects with Republican insider give a damn space.

What is the gain for Trump to step aside? His brand is underwater as his name is currently toxic. If he is to step aside, his brand (and his ego) won’t recover quickly. His best chance of re-establishing his brand (and his ego) is to double down and win. If he wins the White House in November even if there are 98 Democrats in the Senate and 431 Democrats in the House, he won, and the Republican establishment are full of losers. His brand would take off and he could make odd speeches at golf courses while Mike Pence attempts to govern.

If he steps aside, the party insiders are better off, but his brand is shit and his ego is bruised as he would be the loser genuflecting to the wills of the lose[r]s that he beat in the primary process.

Why would Trump go?

IOW, don't look for the Dumpster to go willingly. He has too much personally at stake in this now.
