I strongly suspect the Republicans are going to hold the House and Senate. Polling follows a predictable path. Large leads a couple months out and a tightening race as election day arrives. Compounding the issue is that many Trump supporters would rather stay anonymous. I have a friend who loves Trump, but told me he wouldn't dare put a bumper sticker on his car or a sign in his yard. He fears property damage. I think he is a little paranoid and I doubt anyone would damage his car. But, I sense this is a common feeling out there. If the GOP has a big night in November, it will be tough to explain to people where the blue wave went and some will start new collusion explanations.
