I think it gets the attention it gets is because Obama ran on being the reformer. Bush never ran on fixing the VA and got excoriated when things went bad. Obama on the other hand promised a whole lot more then he could deliver. Problems with anything as big as the VA are bound to happen and they did and we remember his promises.
