In his address to the nation today, concerning Iraq, Obama said > "We'll be monitoring what's going on over the next few days." Frankly, this sounds equivalent to > "We're going to allow ISIS troops to travel along open, desert roads, on their way to Baghdad, where they could have been hit by airstrikes or drones. Then after they are in Baghdad, there will be little we can do, since we've ruled out troops on the ground."
Obama said our action won't be overnight, it will be several days before anything takes place. Won't that be too late ? And isn't Obama missing a grand opportunity to stop ISIS, while on their way to Baghdad, while the Obamans sit around talking and waiting ?
Seems to me waiting is the last thing that should be done right now. This looks like another example of a president incapable of ACTING militarily, which often requires a fast decision, as is the case NOW.
