Prince Dead at 57

The magic of MTV created a false idol. Now the same establishment that created the ridiculousness must worship it.

I think I will wait to hear about the autopsy report before jumping to any conclusions about his death. Why participate in the spread of rumors, especially regarding someone's death?

And for some of you, haven't you ever heard the expression that if you don't have anything nice to say, keep your big giant pie hole shut? ;)

Nasa tweets purple nebula in honor of Prince, at twitter.
That is an inappropriate use of government funds and manpower.

It's a wonderfully awesome appropiate use to show condolences for the loss of a great musical artist.
Locating a purple nebula, backlighting Niagra Falls in purple, and a purple haze over Minneapolis, all this for a doper who kills himself in a drug overdose. Enough with the tributes. He should be held in contempt for wasting his life, not given tributes.

I hope people are just as gracious after your death, a-hole.

All this for a gifted musician who shared a unique talent. All this for a man who refused to follow the "rules" of his industry and gave us better music because of it. All this for an artist who provided many of us with a soundtrack to some of the great times in our lives.

That you choose to denigrate the artist is not surprising. It will be "enough with the tributes" when those who offer tribute are done. If you don't like it, that is tough.

RIP

Prince Dead at 57 (AUDIO UPDATE)

The artist known as Prince has died ... TMZ has learned. He was 57. Prince's body was discovered at his Paisley Park compound in Minnesota early Thursday morning.
I just heard he has hundreds of songs in a vault/hard drive that have never been released. What a gift he left us.

Can anyone name 1 song he wrote in the last decade? I can't.

Colonized Mind — Prince - From Lotusflower (stylized as LOtUSFLOW3R) contains the thirty-third and thirty-fourth studio albums by American recording artist Prince. It was released on March 24, 2009 by NPG Records

I cannot name one song Paul McCartney wrote in the last decade either, but it hardly diminishes his remarkable lifetime contributions. Who can find the time to explore new music when you already have hundreds or thousands you love that you cannot get back to?

I think we can judge Prince’s worth just by how many famous musicians and celebrities have paid tribute to him in the most flattering ways. As reported last night, at the SNL 40th anniversary party many very famous musical artists were invited to play there while the party was going on including McCartney, Beyonce, Jay-Z and many others I cannot recall who he mentioned. They all were well received but when Prince showed up late that night and took the stage he said it was like the whole party stopped and all these celebrities came close to the stage to give him their full attention --- and he was the star of that night. That is quite a tribute I would say.

most of the people from Minnesota are paying tribute to him in flattering ways

Prince was an amazing musician and.performer. Bummer that he didn't take better care of himself....those expensive drugs are hard on the ticker.

And for some of you, haven't you ever heard the expression that if you don't have anything nice to say, keep your big giant pie hole shut?

No offense but...fuck you parroting some faggot saying....

"Nominated" for basically means the faggots who created this douchebag's "celebrity" had to reward it. There is not one song of his that even approaches anything of interest.
