Sen Brooke is a great example......A black Republican elected as SenatorPrecious little progress?Was affirmative action meant to be a permanent program?. At what point does it become an admission that certain group cannot compete and a true meritocracy is not sustainable with their abilities?
Their has been precious little progress with that program, especially for black Americans. That might not be surprising given that everywhere in the world blacks are found they are uniformly less accomplished than all others in educational fields.
Prior to affirmative action, blacks were relegated to menial jobs. They were deemed to lack the essentials for skilled and managerial positions. It was a self fulfilling prophesy as blacks never got a shot to fill those positions
