Protests in 30+ Cities Against Rump Bigotry EO

See how easy it is to make a point without name calling and/or using childish pejoratives?

I realize Obama never liked labeling but I like labeling when labeling is accurately applied. Would 'cult of the alt-Left' suit you better? ;)

It wouldn't suit me at all.

Both the alt Right and the alt Left - if you so designate them - are extremists; they are generally described as members of the idiot fringe; which includes the disaffected, and those who want what they want immediately, and when pinned down (many) cannot articulate coherently what they believe, or why they do so.

The alt left, or extreme left is composed of the Peace and Freedom Party and Socialist Workers Party. These and other marginal movements, including street thugs are intentionally and wrongly connected with the Democratic Party, and have been lumped together with main stream and main street Democrats.

Sadly, the Republican Party, which seemed to be facing the fate of the Whig Party, allowed bigots, racists, misogynists and White Supremacist groups into their tent, expanding their base and tossing under the bus any Republican who did not accept their hate and fear message.

You've got Sanders and a black Muslim calledb Ellison taking over the Democrat party after a humiliating loss across the board, and then you say the GOP is going the way of the Whigs

Boy, are you going to be disappointed!

USA Today -- This is Bigly.

>> Protests targeted major airports from Los Angeles to Chicago to New York. Other demonstrations were taking place in town squares and smaller airports from Bangor, Maine, to Bloomington, Ind., to Boise.

At San Francisco's airport, hundreds of people choked the international terminal for a second straight day, waving sings that read "Let Them In" and "No Ban No Wall." A phalanx of lawyers lined up to offer free legal aid to refugees affected by the executive order.

Protesters began swarming major airports Saturday. In Chicago, thousands of demonstrators gathered at O'Hare International Airport. In New York, more than 2,000 at John F. Kennedy Airport chanted "Let them in!" At Los Angeles International Airport, 200 protesters, shouted, "No Trump, No KKK, No fascist USA."

In Dallas, Mayor Mike Rawlings on Sunday afternoon met with travelers who had been held at the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, handing them bouquets of white roses and telling reporters, "The tide is turning and the sun is rising — and these important visitors to our city are here. We have wished them welcome and we have apologized from the depths of our heart," WFAA-TV reported.

In Virginia, the advocacy group CASA's call for a rally at Dulles International Airport drew dozens of placard-carrying protesters.

“We will not stop until this executive order is canceled and we arrive at common-sense, immigration reform that takes into account the lives of immigrant and refugee families,” CASA Virginia state director Michelle LaRue said.

This reaction makes one proud. Right on Patriots. :salute:

It is discouraging to see that many ignorant people.

"Here is number eight US Code 1182, inadmissible aliens. This law was written in 1952. It was passed by a Democrat-controlled Congress, House and Senate, and signed by a Democrat president.

“Suspension of entry or imposition of restrictions by president. Whenever the president finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, the president may, by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.”

It's not going the way of the Whigs --- it's going the way of the Know Nothings.

If that's the case, the spineless Speaker of the House, Ryan, may grow a pair - the Know Nothings were opposed to the Catholic Immigrants.

See: Know Nothing - Wikipedia

What goes around comes around Speaker Ryan:

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Yep, and more broadly they were opposed, often violently, to immigrants, endlessly calling for "100% Americanism" --- all of which they bequeathed later to the Ku Klux Klan.

The 'Alt Right' isn't a label I use or accept. I break Americans into basically 2 groups. Americans and Americans in name only (AINOs). The term 'alt-Left' I use in a light hearted way to counter the Left's labeling American patriots as alt Right. The Left views patriots as fringe idiots. This is idiotic and it's why, in part, I now view the Left as a cult.

I don't know about this but I do know that Trump is no more a racist, misogynist or bigoted than anyone else is and that the Democrat Party has always been the party of racism.

Socialism and freedom are mutually exclusive concepts and any extreme Leftist group has absolutely nothing to do with freedom. So too their version of 'peace' (ultimately) means surrender.

Are you, like, unfamiliar with English?

I said, "QUOTE me". That's an imperative sentence.

YOU made the claim, now you've gotta back it up. Get busy.

That's fine, since there's no such thing.

Racism is a personal/cultural thing, not a political one. There is no "party of racism".

Thank god it will mean something to be white in America again. Out of the closet came the fags as they tried to put white people in it
