Protests in 30+ Cities Against Rump Bigotry EO

USA Today -- This is Bigly.

>> Protests targeted major airports from Los Angeles to Chicago to New York. Other demonstrations were taking place in town squares and smaller airports from Bangor, Maine, to Bloomington, Ind., to Boise.

At San Francisco's airport, hundreds of people choked the international terminal for a second straight day, waving sings that read "Let Them In" and "No Ban No Wall." A phalanx of lawyers lined up to offer free legal aid to refugees affected by the executive order.

Protesters began swarming major airports Saturday. In Chicago, thousands of demonstrators gathered at O'Hare International Airport. In New York, more than 2,000 at John F. Kennedy Airport chanted "Let them in!" At Los Angeles International Airport, 200 protesters, shouted, "No Trump, No KKK, No fascist USA."

In Dallas, Mayor Mike Rawlings on Sunday afternoon met with travelers who had been held at the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, handing them bouquets of white roses and telling reporters, "The tide is turning and the sun is rising — and these important visitors to our city are here. We have wished them welcome and we have apologized from the depths of our heart," WFAA-TV reported.

In Virginia, the advocacy group CASA's call for a rally at Dulles International Airport drew dozens of placard-carrying protesters.

“We will not stop until this executive order is canceled and we arrive at common-sense, immigration reform that takes into account the lives of immigrant and refugee families,” CASA Virginia state director Michelle LaRue said.

A bunch of fools wishing America to become overrun by muslims just like Europe. Trump will save them from this, and they're too stupid to realize it.

if drumpf was SO concerned about fighting extremist fundy islamists... the question begs:

why aren't pakistanis banned? pakistan allowed osama bin laden safe haven to hide in plain sight.

& why isn't saudi arabia on that list ...where the 19 highjackers originated from?

NOT one terrorist act on american soil has been carried out by anyone from the countries he's imposed a ban.

I don't know why this is the case, but I do believe trump's move was based on Intel gathered by the previous administration. It could be that there are more Refugees coming out of countries like Libya, Syria and Iraq more so than Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. This might be the reason for enforcing a TEMPORARY ban on people from those countries. It allows the new Administration to devise a way to vet people while the flow of refugees is stopped from these countries. I do believe we plan on taking in a limit of 50K people per year, this seems more than reasonable considering they need to assimilate to a completely foreign culture.
Really, I cant see why people are in the streets over this except they are always anticipating the next thing to protest. Protesting is kinda fun you know. Don't kid yourself. there's nothing more cool than protesting against the man. Eventually though, these people need to go home and take care of their kids.

True, but all these posts are just tards trying to convince each other they weren't rendered irrelevant and dismissed on Nov. 8, 2016. They're laughable frauds having tantrums and spreading fake news and fake 'outrage'. A grand total of maybe a 100 people have been affected, so it's a another non-issue those with no clue will have these little plays for the cameras, having no real issues to whine about. IF they had done the same for those Christians the UN declared to not be qualified for refugee status, and their hero Muslim President blubbering his support of the UN's ruling and deported hundreds of Christians, they would have at least some cred here, but they didn't give a crap then and deserve only mocking and the finger here. The DHS is missing a real opportunity here to round up these vermin and deport them when they show up for these fake protests.

In fact, Pelosi and other of the Vermin Nation proposed a similar ban themselves. None of these scum had a problem with it, of course.

That's fine, since there's no such thing.

"Temporary" is a lame weasel word. "Temporary" doesn't have a quantity. It's just "later".

When Rump first brought up banning Muslims ----- and he specified Muslims, not nationalities (see below) ---- his time frame was "until our country's representatives can figure out what the hell is going on".

If "temporary" is an intentionally vague weasel word, "until we can figure out what the hell is going on" is a 55-gallon drum full of weasels. On one hand he seems either oblivious to our already-stringent vetting system, on the other hand he seemed perfectly willing to tell everybody he himself has no idea what the hell is going on, even while he himself is married to an immigrant. Or both. But more to the point "until we can figure out what the hell is going on" has neither a time frame nor a job description. He can say he doesn't know what the hell is going on indefinitely. And he won't have much argument.

If the extra time and inconvenience for one person saves someone elses life, then it was worth it. Seems to me as President, its a good move to assess the vetting process and process of assimilation while everything is stopped. It's his primary job to protect US citizens, other international agreements are secondary, so I'm willing to give Trump a 90 day trial period on this. How stringent is the system really? considering whatever happens now will on Trump's watch, it's best to let the new team decide. Its kind of hard to go back after you let in 10s of thousands.

Got a link to this political platform then? It must be expressed somewhere.

Don't know a lot about Eugenics; I know it was a "thing" in early 20th century and that both Hitler and George H.W. Bush were into it but pretty sure neither of them were Democrats. But again that's a science theory and not a political thing. Haven't seen it around for a long time.

In fact what I see is the opposite ---- it used to be people with birth defects, mental illness, physical deformities and such, were hidden away, locked up, lobotomized, and mocked as 'inferiors'. Now we bend over backward to accommodate wheelchairs, integrate the mentally challenged, provide sign language, etc etc. The only mocking left is when Donald Rump ridicules a reporter with a muscular disability. That's why he took so much heat for it --- it rubs the modern culture the wrong way. We like to think we grew past that point but clearly not all of us did.

Slavery of course is thousands of years old, happened worldwide on every continent and was here long long before there was a country or any political parties, even in the unique form it took in the Americas where Europeans would bring them across the ocean beginning nearly five hundred years ago. Moreover it was employed even more in the Caribbean and Brazil, where I'm pretty sure they don't have "Democrats" either.

Four of our first five Presidents were slaveholders; none were Democrats since they did not yet exist. Martin van Buren, the guy who organized the Andrew Jackson faction into the Democratic Party and got it running as such, was an abolitionist.

Segregation, and racism in general, came with that practice as its legacy, and was (again) spread all over the country long before a nation or any political party existed --- and still exists, here, in other parts of the Americas, and elsewhere in the world. I saw it happen in France. Pretty sure they don't have les Democrates in France. "Jim Crow" was of course local and state actions, not a political party.

And the one of these I happen to know the best, the Klan, wasn't even political nor was it founded by anyone (either time) who had any known political activities or associations. We know much else about them but we have no such political indications.

The poster here is engaging in juvenile binary-bot imagery where everything in the world gets conveniently shoved into one of two boxes, the good angels and the evil devils, the old "us" and "them" mentality, which requires in this case that everything that ever happened must be defined in his childish terms of either "Democrat" or "Republican" --- even if neither of them existed yet. It's a crutch employed by the intellectually slothful who can't be bothered with botherations like "thought" or "research". Rather, he just makes up whatever feels good in the moment, oblivious to the fact that it can't be supported, just because it feels good. In effect masturbation using a computer keyboard. He's getting his Eliminationist-Porn on.

That's at base what this is about ---- Eliminationism. Sticking everything into two handy little boxes and then demonizing one of them, declaring it must be not observed, considered or negotiated with but outright eliminated so that he can have his childlike world in one convenient box with no challenges to it and he isn't required to think. That's all this type of shit is.

Sanger, Woodrow Wilson and many other prominent progressives were for eugenics. Eugenics were founded by Frances Galton the cousin of Charles Darwin. As America practiced eugenics in the early 1900's it wasn't until WWII that Hitler, who got the idea from progressives started implementing the practice against Jews and others.

The compulsory sterilization, euthanasia were methods that the progressives looked into in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Also restricting immigration from inferior races was also a element of the progressive idea.

Let's (Cautiously) Celebrate the "New Eugenics" | The Huffington Post This article speaks of the new eugenics movement.

Rump mocked the reporter, mocked Carly Fiorina, mocked Marco Rubio, mocked Ted Cruz, mocked Jeb Bush, mocked Hillary Clinton, mocked the Chinese, mocked Megyn Kelly, mocked everybody. Because he's a fucking child who has never matured beyond age nine.

And you're too drunk on the aforementioned hero-worship to call him out on it. Or too much of a damn wimp. Or both.
