Well Pelosi's and the Democrats first choice was to have an independent commission of non-lawmakers evenly split between people chosen by the Democrats and the Republicans. Like happened in the 9/11 investigation. REPUBLICANS poo pooped that idea.

As for these "Republicans Pelosi appointed." They are staunch Conservatives as their records proved and they had the stance that Jan 6thwas a bridge to far.

The question is why didn't the other Republicans think a months long campaign of unsupported claims of voter fraud, and steps being taken to try to overturn the election results, resulting in a storming of the Capitol by the sitting president, isn't worthy of impeachment?

A council put together by the White House, which basically caused the drug, sex and human smuggling crisis by refusing to secure our southern border, won't do anything but blow a lot of money to write a bogus report that will appease gullible liberals. I got an estimate for the Jan 6 Commission-$9.3 Million- that is from The Washington Post. So far, the Democrats have spent about $45 Million chasing Donald Trump and he is still campaigning for President and drawing big crowds.
