They get a fairly decent working knowledge of all medical topics, including virology, before they can even pass the board exams, and they go to MORE school to become a specialist, like an Ophthalmologist (eye surgeon).

To sit there and pretend that Rand Paul cannot read and understand virology is the epitome of insulting, evasiveness, and most people are seeing right though it.
