jill i know 4 people who live in different parts of the world,my son right now lives in the UK and he said Obama is looked at by brits better than Bush, but he said at least were he works at,quite a few there like the guy but they think Obama comes off as a weak leader and many think he is in over his head in many world situations,and was surprised to hear this because he thought he would be hearing what you believe.....lots mention him throwing their PM under the bus for Libya....they thought that was pretty chump....

i am never going to say that he is a "great" president. but if one compares him with his predecessor, well, they can't be painted with the same brush. for the record, i have friends elsewhere too, and i think they'd agree that he's decent but not great. and certainly not embarrassing, which is what was said earlier in this thread. but then again, i thought hillary should have been president in 2008 and thet obama should have been her vice president and learned the job and then gone in now.
