Report: DOJ Readies Assange Prosecution

He exposed it by making it public. It is no different than if a U.S. news outlet got secret information that would put American lives in danger, and they print it without asking the U.S. government first if they can print it. You need to learn the laws.
To the best of my knowledge, that isn't against the law. Furthermore, Assange isn't an American. If some guy in Japan published classified American documents that someone gave him, has he committed a crime? I don't think so.

To the best of YOUR knowledge? :abgg2q.jpg::abgg2q.jpg::abgg2q.jpg::abgg2q.jpg:

Now that is a hoot!

Yes, it is illegal.

That's about revealing sources, not classified information, you fucking dumbass.

It involves printing classified information... you need to read the whole fucking thing genius.
Yes, the reporter refused to give up the name of the person who printed classified information. That person probably violated the Espionage Act, but the reporter didn't.

If a reporter gets classified information, they HAVE to run it by the CIA/FBI to make sure it would not put American lives in danger and get permission to print it... otherwise they are breaking the law. This is the last time I'm telling you this. It's AGAINST the law. Seriously... learn the fucking laws before you waste time posting for pages on end and wasting people's time.

Reporters and FBI agents absolutely can go to jail for leaking classified info.

Federal Prison in this case.

FBI agent sentenced to four years after leaking classified information to reporter
You have an example of an FBI agent going to jail, who has a security clearance and signed a non-disclosure agreement. So where's the example of a reporter going to jail for publishing classified information that someone gave to him? You can't find one because there are no such examples.

ROFL! Show me the law that says that.

Yes there is. There is one out there, but I'm not finding it right now.

I have seen it before. A reporter, 2 FBI agents, and Reality Winner, all doing 4 years+ Fed time.

All leaked info or published leaked info.

Yes there is.
Then post it.

Reportedly, the DOJ is considering several charges against Assange - including under the Espionage Act. Assange was a tool of Russian intelligence. Also, the Ecuadorean embassy in London really wants to get rid of him.

What, specifically, is the charge?

Perhaps Assange should be prosecuted. One thing is certain, liberals had NO PROBLEM with Hillary's use of a private server to avoid oversight by the American people nor did liberals have a problem with Hillary transmitting well over 100 classified documents on her private server. It's probably a virtual certainty that the Chinese, Russians, Iranians, etc. all know more about what was in her emails than the U.S. Congress.

...and Trump keeps using an unsecure phone that the Chinese have been listening in on.

FYI-
only 4 (to 6?) email chains remained classified, the original 4 email chains that triggered the investigation by the IG to the FBI

All the others were declassified.

Didn't the IG testify that there were over 100 classified documents found on Hillary's server?

they weren't classified at a high level but things like setting up a phone call with one of our Ambassadors etc... they were ''sensitive'' information, for privacy reasons but not classified as in top secret stuff, so they got declassified, some with redactions of names.... and the State dept released them.... on FOIA requests...

EXCEPT those original 4 or 6 'top secret' or 'secret' classified email chains that triggered the investigation that the IG found.... they never declassified those!!

Hopefully this is not fake news and Swamp Rat Mueller has Julian testify. As truth seekers in this thread already indicated, this could be the biggest mistake Mueller ever made. Mueller and Comey obviously signed off on the assassination of Seth Rich ordered by Crooked Hillary and the DNC.
