Republicans have the power to make government smaller - instantly

Duh, is right. You are positively retarded.

So a few hundred Republicans leave the House, Senate, and Supreme Court. They would more than be made up in numbers by the Department of Free Stuff.

The hypothetical department in your hypothetical reality that you get to make up as you see fit to make your argument?

OK.

You seem fascinatingly ignorant of the Democratic Party's socialistic tendencies and love of big government, and seem to believe if left unchecked they would not grow government by leaps and bounds.

I thought I had seen all the crazy delusions people held on this board. Looks like I was WAY OFF!!!

You seem willing to base you argument off of a hypothetical reality that you create in your head so that it fits your argument exactly.

It would shrink because the Republicans leaving would make it smaller. Duh.

You can't honestly think that Republicans can affect positive change through government, can you? Sorry, but government is not the solution. These very same Republicans would do us more benefit if they got off the government teet and participating in the free market in as greedy a way as possible, thus creating jobs.

Then who would stop the Democrats from screwing the economy and the government up even more?

So the solution to preventing the Democrats from screwing up the economy is .... government?

No. It's keep them out of government and checking their power within

Why do liberals so often mistake "small government" advocacy for something akin to "no government" advocacy?

Is there any reason other than intellectual dishonesty which could explain this?

How to you "check their power within" the government without participating in government? That seems impossible.

No one has argued that anyone not participate in government. The fact that you cant understand that or are too dishonest to admit it isn't really my problem.

It's intentional. They can't stand being honest about it.

That makes no sense!

Don't tax your peabrain about it. The notion we're trying to convey is obviously too complex for you.
