Republicans gave corporations a tax break for going overseas? If the Republicans had not handed corporations a tax break for going overseas the tax rate would be the same for profits made here or overseas therefore there would be no tax advantage.Lol. Try to read what I wrote, thanks.First of all, dumbass, we had to either bail out the banks or risk total financial meltdown. The bail out was to keep our country solvent, not to help the banks.like bailing out banks and corporations that couldn't run themselves? Good point. Lost 11B to GM and all they did was invest overseas.. I wonder if they would have invested here if we didn't have the highest corporate tax rate in the world?
As for GM, going bankrupt would have lost jobs. GM was not going bankrupt because of the corporate income tax. Yet you & your retarded Orange POS seem to think offering tax breaks helps corporations when they are making no or little profit.
If corporate profits were taxed in the year created regardless of where, then there is zero income tax advantage to going overseas to build factories.
If you want corps to invest more here, talk to Republicans.
Nice try.
Link?
When they said corps did not need to pay income tax on overseas profits until they brought them back. A very stupid law that encouraged overseas expansions. Typical Republican bullshit. Jobs went overseas because corporations took them there. Don't blame anyone but the corps & those that enabled them.
