Right wing’s plan to rule the roost

No, it's neither. You've presented a false dichotomy.

You didn't vote. Then you should go away.
You voted for other than a (D) or (R). You threw your vote away.

Which is it?

You're not one of these idiots who believes that a vote for a candidate who doesn't win is "wasted", are you? If so, it's a pretty silly POV, and by your reasoning a lot of people have thrown away their votes over the years.

We have a two party system. If you don't vote for one of the two, you've thrown your vote away.

Those of us who aren't progressives don't want to rule the roost. Just rule ourselves. We'd like the government out of our lives to do that to the greatest possibility.
Correct. It's sad that there are so many that have lied to either from their parents or government schools or both that they are nothing without relying on government and others. Being a rugged individualist like our forefathers were is become rare. After all? 47% of the population is dipping their heads into the trough that used to be called our treasury.

This has to cease.

Here you go:

-Raise minimum wage to $23.50/hr. Based on where minimum wage should be using 1970-2013 rise in food, shelter, and transportation.

-Eliminate all business subsidies (deductions/write-off’s/write-downs) except for employee expenses which are deducted dollar-for-dollar on all city, state, and Federal taxes and fees.

-Adjust Social Security and private/public retirement and pension payments using 1970-2013 price structure.

-Back down ALL costs, prices, fees, to January 1, 2009 levels and hold them for 10 years.

-Recall ALL off-shore investments tax free, and disallow any further off-shore investments.

I'll take that as a "yes".

voter disenfranchisement is the only way Repubs have of appearing to remain relevant. Says a lot about the brand

Let me see if I have this straight. Democrat voters are too damn dumb to comply with common sense voting rules, but Republicans are not too damn dumb to do so? Is that what you loons are saying?

Which Democrats do you believe are too damn dumb? I will bet dollars to doughnuts, you are thinking about minorities. Isn't that right, you lil ole racist you?

The plan is to strut...

FIRST CLUE to your cluelessness. HOW are businesses going to do that if they are just barely hanging on as it is?

NO...get RID of the TAX CODE...the 16th Amendment and massive deregulation that holds businesses in their grip like jackboots on their necks.

And what is it with this arbitrary TEN YEAR figure...odd? Politicians always use that...are YOU a politician? Come clean.

Thanks for playing

Give money to guys who can't earn it...take money from the ones who have earned it...the libtard dream.

So the rich shouldn't pay the same effective tax as you?

The high earners would be paying a much higher effective tax than I do, if the friggin Democrats had not jacked up my tax rate to a ridiculus level. The top earners are not paying too little, the medium earners are paying too much.

You want fairness, quit worrying about more taxes on the rich, and start working on reducing taxes for those under $200,000.

Every ONE of those proposals of yours does ONE thing...and that is damage the "Middle Class" you Progs claim you care about.

Rethink is in order on your part.

Those of us who aren't progressives don't want to rule the roost. Just rule ourselves. We'd like the government out of our lives to do that to the greatest possibility.

There are more people than just YOU.

Yes, and the vast majority of them have two arms, two legs, and a brain. They can take care of themselves and their families.

Why don't you loonies just buy yourself a farm somewhere, create your own little utopia, and leave the rest of us alone? You could share and share alike, weave your own clothers, grow your own food, and live happily ever after. You could show the rest of us how wonderful socialism really is.

Because it wouldn't be any fun if they weren't bullying people who didn't want to play.

The U.S. Supreme Court has put its imprimatur on the right-wing’s drive to erect apartheid, to establish a state religion, to end the war on poverty in this country.

By giving super-rich people such as the Koch brothers, Sheldon Adelson, etc., an unlimited ability to buy elections, the right-wingers can perpetuate the rule of the soon-to-be minority whites.

How? By artificially creating majority-white districts and bunching together minorities in a few districts and by limiting minority access to polling places.

All the right-wing governors and state legislatures have to do is continue gerrymandering districts. Right-wing governors and legislatures will continue to win elections because the Koch brothers, Adelson and scores of super-rich right-wingers will spend whatever it takes to keep those public officials in power.

Litigation that seeks to destroy the separation of church and state, financed by the super-rich, will eventually succeed. The war on poverty will continue.

Progressives must fight back. Boycott all Koch brothers products, refuse to patronize the Las Vegas Sands Corp. And that’s just for starters. Ultimately, we will have to find out who are the financiers that Karl Rove goes to for street money.

They’re next.

Slander followed up with a socialist's wet dream is an article worth posting? Is there any economist that says it would work? I don't see how, businesses are struggling now, more policies by economic impotents isn't what we need.

What's so funny is that he actually tries to make everyone here believe he is a millionaire, yet rattles off an asinine proposal like that lacking in any understanding of basic economics which any economist would laugh his ass right out of the room over.

The lack of cognitive thinking - you must be a libertarian.

My plan off-sets employee costs by matching deduction one-for-one with taxes and fees, then subsidizing the balance which eliminates employee costs.

What YOU propose hurts the Middle Class you PROGS pretend to care about. Didn't read that part did you? And WHY does Government have to do this?

YOUR plan sucks...like YOU.:eusa_hand:

Putting monies back into an economy is bad?

voter disenfranchisement is the only way Repubs have of appearing to remain relevant.

Democrats have controlled the majority of the government since 2009 if voters are disenfranchised they and there policies are the reason why.
