The government of the southern Russian Voronezh region urged residents to avoid the M-4 north-south motorway connecting Moscow to southern regions because a military convoy was on the move there, after the leader of the Wagner private militia suggested that he planned to oust Russia's military leadership.
The government said on its Telegram channel that the situation was under control and that measures were being taken to ensure public safety.

Commentary:
I wonder how many Russian soldiers will just join the Wagner soldiers.
More importantly the Russian army wants to get paid - and is extremely annoyed that their own officers embezzled the money supposed to go towards body armor, food rations, vehicle maintenance and most importantly ammunition.
So, Putin’s paid mercenaries are reportedly rebelling and from the looks of today’s White House press conference Biden’s mercenaries may be rebelling too. Should be a fun weekend.
Presently. there is no land force capable of stopping Wagner soldiers between Moscow and Rostov. The only hope is the Russian Air Force, which has had a weak record in Ukraine and their willingness to get involved entirely depends on their loyalty.
Russia simply does not have extra combat capable units sitting around. And I don't see Putin ordering the MOD to send their front-line units on a fighting retreat from the Donbas and Crimea to attack Prigozhin's rear.

He will not allow his men to be killed on the alter to Pooty.

The head of the Wagner group might be viewed by most Russian soldiers as the real deal. And perhaps they criticize Putin for not being on the front lines.
