SABOTAGE: Trump Halts $5 Million In Pre-Paid Obamacare Ads During Crucial Enrollment Period

Makes sense. The more people are enrolled, the more people will lose their healthcare when the GOP gives them the middle finger. And that would make Trump look bad. Though with his spin machine he could probably convinces his rubes that the number of people who lost their healthcare is actually the number of new people gaining health care thanks to him.

It was mandated you 'tard. Why PAY for something that they have to do? You really aren't capable of an original thought are you..
So they go get important healthcare coverage, instead of paying a penalty and getting nothing at all. Duh. :cuckoo:

Paying the penalty is still cheaper than the coverage if you're young enough...DUH!
As long as you don't get sick

The Trump administration has pulled the plug on all Obamacare outreach and advertising in the crucial final days of the 2017 enrollment season, according to sources at Health and Human Services and on Capitol Hill.

Even ads that had already been placed and paid for have been pulled, the sources told POLITICO.

The decision sends the clearest signal yet that President Donald Trump is determined to fulfill his campaign pledge to repeal Obamacare. Hours after being sworn in, Trump issued his first executive order allowing federal officials to start unwinding parts of the law.

"President Trump is signaling he's the new sheriff," said Rep. Chris Collins, (R-N.Y.), the president's top congressional ally. "He's been elected with a mandate. He's not going to tolerate his employees contradicting and undermining his mandate to get this country going in another direction."

Individuals may still sign up for Obamacare plans until the Jan. 31 deadline — but the Trump administration isn't advertising that fact any longer.

Trump is an evil man. People have a right to health insurance.

They needed the 5 million to pay for the luxury republican retreat they are having right now..

5 Mil is nothing compared to what the First Wookie paid her friend for a website that didn't work.

Why did they have to advertise for something that was MANDATED?

Or wanted so badly as they claim?

He isn't going to end the ACA, smart money says it will become Medicare for all.
Then only the very wealthy will be able to pay doctors out of pocket.

You don't know much about Medicare, do you?

Please explain Medicare to us.

No, tell me what you know, which I suspect is not a damn thing.

Tell me....how much do you pay for Part A?
How much for Part B?
How much for a supplement that gaps it?
How much for Part D?

It was expected? It was expected to cost taxpayers over 2 billion dollars for a Fn website? If that was expected, why didn't DumBama tell us that when he was getting Commie Care passed through Congress?

So it wasn't seven years of the law failing that sabotaged it, it was 5 million in ads that sunk the ship.

Wow, that gag order is really working well, isn't it?

I didn't even know the federal government spends that kind of money on ads for the ironically named (affordable care act). Can we save even more taxpayer money by completely eliminating the connection between the federal government and the ad agencies?

This is nothing new for Democrats. DumBama was spending our money advertising food stamps in Mexico and the US.
